Kai swooped down on the currently being rebuilt Radiant Garden. She remembered how beautiful it used to be before the heartless took over. She felt a pang of hate for the monsters but banished it immediately. She had a mission after all.

"This mission would be going a whole lot better if someone was actually around." She complained to herself. She hovered in the air a few moments, letting the gentle breeze caress her face and blow her hair, before fluttering to the ground silently. She then used magic to hide her wings, people often made fun of her and stayed away when they saw them. Although, her hair and eyes made her stand out anyway.

She pulled out a piece of off-white parchment paper from within the pouch at her hip and re-read the message. It was quite an important job she had been assigned. She was supposed to inform all sentient beings of the monsters that had been let loose and ask if anyone was willing to forge an alliance to help get rid of the monsters. As far as she knew they already had the Organization XIII and warriors of light on their side, but it wouldn't be enough.

"Where is everybody?" Kai burst out in a bout of childish temper as she looked around the empty streets.

Alert! Something has been detected! Subject appears to have large multi-colored wing-like appendages.

"Hmm?" Near looked down at his computer screen as the red text flashed across it, followed by a new screen. He placed the toy airplane he had been previously playing with besides him.

The white haired detective was sitting on a bench, looking a bit bored. He analyzed the image that had popped up on the screen. It was odd, that the boy would be sitting outside, especially now of all times, when Heartless, and these new... beasts were lurking about. The streets were mostly deserted for the most part, anyway.

A girl with long turquoise hair, and pink eyes, neither a normal sight, even around Radiant Garden. Though, she had no wings, as Near's computer had previously stated. It seems that, by what she had exclaimed, she needed to address someone, or anyone.

"Quite odd..." Near muttered, twirling a lock of his hair. "Number... 2A, is it?" He typed a few things down, before putting a headset on. The girl wasn't too far away from his actual position, maybe a few buildings away. But he wasn't going to talk with her in person, not yet, at the very least.

----------------------------

Beep!

A small red light flickered on, and something seemed to move on top of one of the small buildings, looking down at the city. It resembled a metal sphere, though it had the propeller of a helicoptar, what looked like a camera, and metalic legs used to land, or perhaps walk.

Its position was about neck-height to this odd girl. "Who are you, and what is your purpose here?" Near's voice came from the machine.

((For now, at least, this little conversation will be with Near through a little robotic thing...))

Kai jumped slightly and looked around. No one was there. Her brows furrowed in confusion, she was positive she heard a voice asking who she was. He allowed her pink eyes to scan the surrounding buildings in hope of spotting someone in hiding.

There! Up on the roof! There was a red light blinking on a small biped machine. It had legs, a propeller, and what looked to be a camera attached to a sphere. Kai didn't know about most of this new technology considering she usually didn't venture into cities and Mt. Olympus was still stuck in it's own Golden Age.

"I am assuming you are speaking to me through that machine up on the building, correct?" She called up to where the thing was. She was having an internal debate whether or not this thing was worth telling or not. The person on the other end could very well be one of Cronus's spies.

She decided on a compromise, "Who I am is of no importance. I have a message to deliver to all concerning the monsters that have been showing up on the worlds." She had no problem telling people about other worlds, most knew about it already. It wasn't her job to keep the World Order.

She frowned up at the machine, "Although, I refuse to speak to you through this mechanism." It felt rather degrading, the fact that someone couldn't just pop up and say, 'who in the Underworld are you?' They had to say it though some odd looking device.

"Ahh... Well, you are correct on the first question." Near's voice came from the machine. "Those monsters are being quite annoying. I don't go out often, but when I do, those creatures have been following me around. They are also harder to kill then most Heartless I see around here..."

Near twirled his hair as he spoke through the headset, wondering exactly who the girl was. Of course, her being cautious of talking to someone she didn't know and couldn't see wasn't odd. After all, this is the boy that spent almost all his time hiding inside and communicating with his group, almost never showing his face to anyone.

He looked up from the laptop's screen, glancing around the area with his dark eyes. Coast was still clear, no beasts or Heartless in site. He looked back down at the screen and continued.

"Well, I have my reasons." Near said, recalling the life he had while he was on his world. He was aware of the other worlds, ever since he lost his. "Where I came from, hiding my face 'til the last moment was the thing that kept me alive. But, I can understand if you cannot trust me. It's only natural to, in light of these situations."

Kai completely understood what the boy was saying about not revealing who you were to a potential enemy, but she was in a tight situation and had a schedule to keep. So many worlds, so little time, after all. The more time she wasted on one world the more people would be killed, and the more she would be lectured when she got back home.

"I understand if you do not trust me. In your position I probably would not trust myself." She told the person who was speaking through the robot as she tucked a loose lock of bright teal hair behind her ear. "But the message I have is of utmost importance and I cannot risk it falling into enemy hands."

She frowned and thought back to her first encounter with one of the monsters. It had been annoying to beat it, depleting most of her magic and potion stores before it finally succumbed to death. If one of the monsters was hard for her to beat then she could only imagine what it would be like to a human.

"I suggest something that was suit both of our wants and needs." Kai began, she honestly wished that she could just blurt out the message but it would be too risky not knowing who was on the other side of that robot. "We can meet somewhere in this town so that I may tell you my message. You may choose the place and I shall meet you there." She finished, hopefully this would be good enough for this person. She did not know this town very well and he probably did. An automatic advantage for him.

Near stared at the screen, thinking for a moment. Of course, that would be the best solution, seeing as they weren't going to get anywhere if they didn't meet. And no one was out at the moment, and the message was very important, it seemed. The detective would forward the message to the others of the world after.

"Hmm... Well, in truth, I'm much closer than you think." The robot looked around the area. "I'm about three buildings away to the west, sitting on a bench. Meet me there, if you wish." With that, the robot's red light turned off, and it became immobile.

Near took off the headset, setting his laptop to the side, and picking up the toy airplane, putting it into his pocket. He pulled out a small block of wood and a knife, and began carving something, his head looking down so it was somewhat hard to see his face.

It was oddly quiet... No Heartless, no beasts... Though Near had a weapon or two that helped against dark creatures, the first time he ran into those stronger monsters, he was nearly thrown off the edge of the Bailey, so these things were not just any threat.

Kai listened attentively to what the person on the other end of the robot was saying. "Hmm... Well, in truth, I'm much closer than you think." What did that mean? Closer than she thought? "I'm about three buildings away to the west, sitting on a bench. Meet me there, if you wish." Oh.

She then took the fact that the red light went off as a signal to get her butt in gear and get over to where he was. She quickly checked to see which way was west and set off at a fast walk to where the person said to meed them.

Her fingers strayed to the pouch at her waist that contained the message. She fingered the rough paper as she walked through the currently deserted streets. She knew about this towns history with the darkness and how it was being rebuilt, but shouldn't some people have been around? Perhaps the monster problem here was worse than they thought?

She continued to follow the person's instructions on how to get to them, she didn't want to get lost. Her flip-flops made dull flapping sounds and they met with the cobblestones. The sound reminded her that no one else was around and she shivered slightly, it was a bit ominous, especially with that half-built castle looming in the distance.

As she turned the corner of the third building her eyes immediately searched for a bench with a person on it. She saw a boy with white untidy hair and white cloths sitting in a sort of crouched position whilst carving a block of wood with a knife. He was smaller than she thought he'd be. She approached him, flip-flops slapping the pavement all the while, and stopped in front of him.

"Are you the one I am looking for?" She said while tucking a stray lock of teal hair behind her ear. She then noticed the peice of technology next to him, 'that must be how he spoke with me.'

Without looking up, Near responded, having recognized the voice. He had heard someone approach a few moments earlier. "Yes, I am." He said, slicing off shavings of wood. The item began to take shape, it looked somewhat like a dart, larger than an average one.

"I believe you had something of importance to tell me and the residence of Radiant Garden of. I'll pass the message through to the others." He looked up for a moment, his coal eyes staring, showing little emotion, before looking back down to continue carving. The pile of shavings that layed on the ground grew in size with every scrape of the knife.

((Sorry it took so long!))

Kai finished sizing the boy up and coughed into her fist. "Yes." She said. She then pulled out the parchment and unrolled it in front of her, looking as professional as possible when your hair is teal and your eyes are pink.

"My Lord The Great God Zeus sends this message to all the worlds. He says, 'People of other worlds, you might have noticed the odd monsters that have been popping up around town. Different from heartless and nobodies. They might have attacked you or someone else. These monsters are servants of the Titan Lord Cronus and the evil witch Maleficent.

"'We of Olympus, Organization XIII, and The Chosen Keyblade Wielders are in need of assistance. If you are willing to raise your arms in battle then please tell this messenger,'"
Kai then straightened up a little in pride, "'If you would be willing to help us. She will tell you the means to contact us if you agree. May the gods be with you, Zeus.'"

She then rolled the paper back up and carefully stuffed it into her pouch, she still had to use it after all. "If you need time to think on your answer I can always stick around for a bit or leave and return?" She inquired of the boy.

Near twirled his finger around a lock of his snow-white hair, setting the knife next to him. "... Hmm..." He examined the dart, acting as if he did not notice Kai there, until he finally spoke up.

"... I have my answer now." He said. "These creatures are menaces to all of human kind, and I cannot have them destroying innocent lives, even if they aren't human, in certain cases. I will help, but I cannot say how much help I will be--I'm not meant for fighting. He admitted. "Rather, I have a better chance helping by thinking through things, and creating a hypothesis."
