Since late 2001 people have taken part in several exotic storylines involving wolves and their environment, and sometimes even non-canids invaded the community and forced us to love them. Among the booming giants were many small, tight-knit communities, and some of those can be attributed to Fish. From the creator of Scars of Life, the Never Cry series, and Upon Time, comes a new variety of wolf roleplay. Like the post-apocalyptic deathtrap society of SoL, the drug-induced coma of the Never Cry plotline, and the tribal werewolf vision of Upon Time, Otherworld intends to bring it's own flavour to the wolf roleplay community, a community that is quickly losing it's touch.
Have you ever wondered what happened when you died? Is there an after-dark, a haven with angels and eons of time, rebirth, endless death? It is said in many cultures that, in the beginning, there was light. Otherworld doesn't say that. In the beginning, there was nothing. However nothing cannot exist, even if it does. Paradoxes bend the fabric of reality, fantasy, time and space, and so, something came of nothing. Many somethings, the consciences of galaxies and universes, of all the multiverses and shadows of worlds that might exist. Much of what is known to mankind, much of what is simply glimpsed by us by chance, and so much more, is the body of Sirius. Embodied by caniforms in the North Star, Sirius created worlds and stars and moons and the places between, filling them up and pulsing life through them. It is said that Sirius created layers of Otherworld- a layer for every genetic family- and filled them with wilds the likes of which any creature could love. The endless edges of Otherworld are endless ages of possibility. They say that Sirius sends us all where we most need to be, and they say that at the heart of ever Otherworld, every Heaven and Nirvana, there is a way.
I hope you enjoy playing in Otherworld as much as I enjoyed making it.
