This is awesome, and terrible. I started reading about 40k in April 09. Got my Nids in May, and I have played around 15 times, 8 of which were in the last 5 weeks. So now that I have finally got the hang of things, there's gonna be some changes. I have to buy models for the end of the campaign, then there's gonna be more coming out next year to replace them. Plastic Hve Tyrant w/ wings, Yes Please!

Yes the nids is big news but what about the ultra marines movie? If it is anything like the intro to DOW2 it is going to be off the hook. I had heard that the being that came out so good GW wanted to make a movie useing that engine.

It feels as though the DE are dead for sure.
Reminds me of the time they re-did the Tau codex abruptly, or so it felt.
I guess the Tyranids deserve a new 'dex?
I mean, the Orks NEEDED a ne wone and they got it.. almost a decade later.
Same for the wolfies, though delaying them was okay as they were still a suppliment to the reg marine 'dex.
'nids were one of the first 4th ed codecies. That's not saying much seeing as 4th ed was kinda cut short by the pooping out of 5th less than 5 years later.
The NEcrons need the love the most, but chances are that's being delayed because of either model conflicts, or they just dunno what the hell they're doin.
Supposedly the studio that did all the Bionicle movies is the one slated to do the Ultramarine movie. So the graphics would be off the hook, but the dialog may suffer.
We'll see.

I don't care if the codex is here soon, I'm still getting the current one. I like the idea of new types of nids coming out as said in the rumors. I hope we see some marine/nids and ork/nids in the codex to add some more durable units, hopefully as troops, however I see them as elites. This is great news!! biggrin.gif

There are a lot of rumors out there. Out of all things being said, I really only want to see some help with Vehicles. They are probably gonna nerf some things and boost some others, but really, I bet our dex was just easier for them to patch up. They would give some love to Necrons and Dark Eldar and Tau, but I bet it was more work. Theyre gonna give us a few new models, but I bet they're going to make ALL new stuff when a D.E. or cons dex comes.

Then we can expect the movie to blow our minds in such a way, I cannot describe it in 60,000 characters.
