Orchid Wine
Name: Your real life name.
Contact Information: Give us the best ways to reach you; screen name, email, PM, whatever you're most likely to check often.
Roleplay Experience: Give us a sweeping overview of your RPG history. No serious details are needed, just the genre/number of sites you've been on and whether you've ever been an admin or mod.
Posting Style: This is included for the same reasons as roleplay experience. In general, how long are your posts and how quickly are they posted? Try to include both strengths and weaknesses.
Character Introductions
[IMG: Optional]
Full Name: Your character's full name. If the meaning is significant, please explain why.
Age: Self explanatory
Nationality: The story setting is Saint Bard. Read about the other countries
here.
Physical Description: Tell us what your character looks like. (Min. 200 words, please)
Occupation: What is your character's job? Don't be afraid to be creative! Details if the job is not something simple, ie: Carpenter.
Social Class: Upper Class, Middle Class, Lower Class? The admin will not close any of the classes to applications, but take into consideration the class ratio when you join. Upper class will be smallest (Ideally 5-10%), middle class almost as small(Ideally 20-40%), and lower class will be very large (Ideally 50-70%).
In-Depth Characterization
History: Give us a few paragraphs about your character's past. (Min 300 words, please)
Relatives: Names, relation, and age are good to add. If a particular relationship is important, you may want to consider noting it. (For example: "John Doe, father, 29: I hate him because he killed my mother"). Many lower class children grew up as orphans, so this is not required if it is not applicable.
Personality Description: (Min. 300 words, please. I recommend making two seperate sections, one stating the character's positive personality traits, and the other the negative.)
Strengths: What are the best traits about your character and what are their talents? (List or paragraph is acceptable.)
Weaknesses: What are the worst traits about your character and what areas are they completely untalented in? (List or paragraph is acceptable.)
Quirks and Habits: Give us a list/paragraph of those odd character traits that set your creation apart from the others. Be creative!
Bonus Section (Optional)
Nicknames: Does your character have a nickname? If so, what is it and how did they come up with it?
Love Life: If your character is romantically inclined (or not), describe it to us.
Self Esteem: Is your character confident or self-conscious?
Important Possession(s): Does your character own something with special meaning or purpose?
Trademark: It can be a physical feature, a marking, an adornment, a personality trait, an occupation, or something else which people would recognize your character by right away.
Prejudices: What are your character's bias'?
Plot Ideas: Do you already have ideas for how your character will fit into the story? If so, good for you! If not, we'd love to help you get involved here at Orchid Wine. Ask any member about plot entanglements, we're all happy to create conflicts.
