alot of spider-man comics aldo I stopped buying it because right now spider-man story's are at a all time low. it's just horrible

most of the comics I got are marvel comics, besides a few batman issues

I like the Hulk comic, the runaways, spiderman; and a bunch of the marvel ultimate comics. And your right, after Mary Jane made that deal with her soul, everything went to hell for the spiderman series(no pun intended )

The World War Hulk and Planet Hulk were INSANE, they were so cool that they blew my mind away.

Also, if anyone is into zombies, look up the Walking Dead. That comic is insanely great, I can't even describe how good it is, it's just great.

I wish I had enough money to buy the comics I wanted. As it is, I'm really broke and ain't going to have money in the near future. Which sucks because those storylines sound awesome.

Yeah, so maybe some of you have heard about the Watchmen movie that's coming out. So I present to you the original comic.

Btw we all know there is going to a avangers movie right and most stars will get there own movie, Cap, Thor Iroman etc.

I mean Batman: Gotham Knight was pretty cool, but I don't think they should do too many of these. I hate how the cartoon and comic industry kind of revolve around ANIME nowadays. American and Japanese media should be kept seperate imo.

I used to think like that too but you have to give American comics a chance. After reading and watching so much manga/anime, I got bored of most of it, especially since I really can't stand that generic pretty boy shit that's prevalent in most japanese fiction. There are a few series I still want to get into, though. I do think that the cream of the crop manga have better stories than American comics, but those are far and few in between. I'm kind of at a point where the story is starting to matter less to me, since I've read and watched so many things. It's all about the execution.

Anyway, I'm gonna upload a link to Sin City, which is pretty different from your superhero type comics, and it's pretty radical.

I geus alot off people still see comics like there used to be in the past.
Where they would just beat up the villain of the month and save the day.
With a few exception the generic super hero stuff pretty much died.

Thats the way I'm viewing it, but thinking of holding that thought until I see what your talking about.

Probably depends on what he read exactly.

Comics, just like manga and basically any other medium, have some good things, and some horrible things.

Marvel is doing a "noir" series with Spider-Man, the X-men, and Daredevil. I only read the Spider-Man and X-Men ones but they were pretty good. I'm interested in keeping up with these. Here's some links. These are the first of 4 by the way, and the other ones haven't come out yet so don't ask. Next ones come out in early January I think, and I'll post links when they do.
