WHATSOEVER I'VE FEARED HAS COME TO LIFE - - - - - - - - - - RemlielConclusions manifest, your first impressions got to be your very best I see youre full of shit, and thats alright Thats how you play, I guess youll get through every night
 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I guess there's 27 hours to waste, and Rem would love to spend it with you. Cops are saying trauma after One past many. The spirit attached itself to other characters. Take a left on Broadway after The spirits pointed you out. After all planes crash, and apparently clowns kill.JUST WHEN EVERY DAY SEEMED TO GREET ME WITH A SMILE Nicknames: Rem or Remliel...he doesn't response to anything else. Age: ageless Birthdate: Dawn of creation Occupation: soldier of god Sexuality: heterosexual...he guesses. What is sex anyways? Hometown: Heaven Character Type: Angel Play By: Aaron Stanford SUNSPOTS HAVE FADED AND NOW I'M DOING TIME Talents:Skilled in how to use any sword, mainly though he focuses on using his angel knife, Rem also knows how to use human weapons but finds them tedious. He can use the human invention known as a computer thanks to a his vessel but he's no hacker or rocket scientist when it comes to it. Infact he's known to talk to it if he has too use it normally a swear word. Special Knowledge:While Rem knows plenty of the occult and creatures, Rem also has a strange connection to fine art and can ramble the facts about painters like Michaelango and Leonardo. He is more then willing to speak openly about heavenly weapons that might do damage to his rebellious siblings as a form of torture. He knows the names of all the prophets and is able to speak (and read) ever language ever created yet pop culture referances and the mulitation of the English language that the humans do confuse him. Powers and Vulnerabilities:While Rem has all the typical angel skills (Telepathy, telekensis, dream walking, ect) he is flawed by all the typical ways to halt him or kill him (Ennochian sigils, holy fire, an angel knife) He can also heal himself and others. Time travel is weakening to him and Rem won't do it unless ordered. He knows all the prophets but has little involvement, or care, for a prophet. "Its not my department" is the only comment Remliel will say. Reputation:Rem is pretty middle class as the garrison goes. He's just a loyal soldier to Raphael and if you ask any on Castiel's side, he can be considered a pain in the ass. Humans don't know much about him and neither do hunters...Rem likes it that way seeing that the mud monkeys are just fodder anyways and he wouldn't grace them with the time of day to heal one of them if he passed them on the street or was paid to. Personality: Rem is one thing, tricky. He can be manipulative and while he does have some loyalties Rem can fake it like the best of them. He's not brash or loud, Rem is just quiet and always watching. His distaste for humans can be shown by his commenting of them as Mud-monkeys or Fodder. If he's unable to speak about them, Rem's eyes will roll at the mention of them. The angel tries to avoid these conversations though.
Rem doesn't get human humor either. Jokes don't make sense to him and neither does human slang. If he doesn't understand the angel's head will tilt and he'll never say he's confused. Rem will just sit in awkward silence until the other party is uncomfortable and moves on to another topic. If the topic is something that Rem deems acceptable then he'll answer and speak about it. Many conversations with other siblings during the apocalypse had been him getting up and leaving if he was not impressed with the chatter.
He doesn't wear his loyalties on his sleeve though. Rem hides his true nature like any actor and can be rather snarky. He's sarcastic though and can still be considered a nerd. Liking to know things, Rem will study it with interest. He'll poke at it, like a child poking at a snake with a stick, but after that he's not interested in it. He won't pick up a book to study something or question it with his siblings. Rem would rather explore it on his own and indulge that fascination.
Rem studies people. Not to act like them, hell no. To see why the other side believes they are so important. He's got a thing about bread and butter though. Rem doesn't know why but he honestly likes bread and butter. In his mind it's the one thing that humans got right and he'll literally stop and make himself a piece of bread and butter if he's able. (well not in mid battle, he's got his priorities) The only thing that Rem shares with his vessel is his love for fine art. Rem can spend hours, days if he decides to go invisable, at an art museum.
Sneaky, Rem could also be seen as a coward to some of his Lucifer supporting brothers (Rem doesn't know of any in the host other then him and Uriel). Not in the sense that he'd hide from battle. On the contrary he'll fight and be pleased to fight if he needed too. He hides his true loyalty from people and his siblings. His main loyalty that Rem won't speak about is that he's loyal to Lucifer. Still he's not as stupid as Uriel who stated his loyalty...it's the quickest way to get yourself killed...but he does like to do things that would actually help his other brother out in the shadows. Rem is territorial over his angel knife. He'll go back for it with a simple phrase of stating that "its his". He also has no problem "befriending" siblings, though every action he says is a pure lie and Rem does it for his own benfiet. That is how after all he's stayed hidden for so long. HOW WOULD I KNOW THAT THIS COULD BE MY FATE? Family:Father: God Siblings: The host.
--His vessel had only a fiancee, Steffani Forbes, but Rem doesn't care much for her and doesn't even realize she's put a missing persons poster up for him-- History: Created by God, Remliel is like his siblings a soldier. He served in God's army but rarely spoke with many of his siblings. Some could possibly label him as an outcast but if God required him to fight some where all it had to do was come down as an order from the archangels or the superior angels and Rem would do it. The study of humans never impressed him but the fall of his brother Lucifer did gnaw away at him. He remained loyal to God's plan and he was one of the remaining angels to bow to the humans.
Years went on and Rem remained solo for a long time. He observed his siblings as they watched with interest the humans and occasionally if he was bored, Remliel would do the same. Down on Earth the humans would have wars claiming who was the proper children of god over a book that was more wrong then right. He witnessed the revolutionary war, civil war, and world wars. The humans use of free will and how the deemed willing to torture themselves over all these years deep seated a small seed of how the humans were flawed. Their father had gifted them free will, the option to choose, and what do they do? Kill each other in unimaginable ways.
Remliel wasn't part of the group that saved Dean Winchester but he soon was sent down to Earth to take his vessel, Zack Lynley. His vessel was his first true interaction with a human, as most angel's normally is. The man was a tech expert for a group of humans who investigated haunted houses. Far from a hunter, the man claimed every bug was an orb and every unexplained sound was an EVP. Remliel was at first to be a ghost before the angel clarified himself to be an angel. It was a huge insult that the angel had to swallow in order to stop the seals from breaking. God had commanded him to do it so he would do so. His vessel was more complicated then what Remliel thought. The man was engaged to an assistant to a high power ad executive and Remliel would watch as she accepted him speaking to angels (Though Zack never actually claimed to her that Rem was angel...Rem was labeled an intelligent spirit) She even attempted to speak to him on occasion.
Rem ignored her.
Finally taking his vessel, Rem assisted in working against the breaking of seals. The human became interesting fodder to the growing amounts of demons and Rem did his job and protected the human race. Even though he was tasked to stop the seal from breaking Rem tried hard to avoid being mixed in with the humans. He had now interest in learning from them as he was around them. Each bit of him grew to dislike the humans as they went around, mucked things up on occasion, or became a meat suit for a demon that he had to cast out. That was until Uriel tracked him down.
Uriel fed the seed that had been growing in his mind. The humans were flawed and unable to get things right no matter how many times they attempted to do right. Humans were meant only to destroy each other. Lucifer's thinking about them was corrected. After several hours of bantering and conversing, Remliel said yes to assisting Uriel and their brother escape the pit. While he never had a hand in Uriel's slaying of other angels, Remliel gave Uriel his word that if his brother needed his assistance Remliel would give it.
Rem continued on, keeping his allegiances hidden even though secretly he would manipulate other attempts to stop the seals from breaking. He would be far from the seals that he manipulated though allowing himself to be free of suspicions. But he kept his eyes open for angels that were in league with Uriel and Lucifer. Things were going well until the damned angel Castiel captured Alastair and upon a move that backfired against him with an attempt to use the demon to kill Dean Winchester, the man who had started this whole mess, Remliel was left alone with Uriel's death.
He then panicked. Had Uriel mentioned him? Was there going to be a witch hunt for others with Lucifer? Rem had really only a few choices. Continue with Uriel's mission and convert their siblings (But it was tricky since his siblings would be looking for others that were Lucifer allies), run and go rogue (to be hunted and cast out), band together with other Lucifer allies (But Rem didn't know who they were since Uriel never told him). Rem chose his only option. He'd slip back into the role of good soldier and no one would ever know about him assisting Uriel. It was easy.
Rem stayed hidden even after his brother was freed. It wasn't because he wanted to stay hidden, on the contrary everyday the fact that he hate the humans was growing. But he saw how his beloved brother's vessel was growing thin. It couldn't contain the true being of Lucifer and Rem was more worried that Michael would beat his brother unless he was in the true vessel. Rem still couldn't approach the true vessel for Lucifer due to his being around Castiel and his constant refusal to consent. His brother was cursed to stick with the vessel of Nick Bennett. When the final battle came between Lucifer, in his proper vessel, and Michael, in the vessel of Adam Milligan, Rem could only sit and watch.
The battle didn't turn out the way he expected it too.
With both of his older brothers thrown into the pit, Rem was meant to accept what Castiel was saying? The humans that Castiel liked so much were flawed and sickening to him. Rem was thankful that Raphael, the last archangel standing was willing to step in and return things to the way it needed to be. Lucifer would have the right to kill Michael but he needed to pick his battles first. Rem sided with Raphael, his loyalty to Lucifer still a secret to many of the siblings. Now he'll do anything to stop the rebellion started by Castiel in order to help Lucifer but never expose himself as a loyalist to his entrapped brother. I SURE DON'T MIND A CHANGE 'CAUSE I FELL ON BLACK DAYS Member Title: Bad Company RP Sample: The news still spun in his head as Remliel paced the empty warehouse. It was a time of war and he had lost his general. The one who had turned him to seeing the correct way. How could Uriel be dead? Running a hand through his hair, Remliel remained silent as he wondered how it could have happened. During the entire Apocalypse the angel had been set in his ways until Uriel had confronted him and shook out the beliefs he had had under the surface.
What floated under the surface was the knowledge that the humans were flawed and always were trying to constantly fit a square peg in a round hole. Humans constantly were more concerned about speaking with new phrases (half of which Rem didn't understand when the humans spoke around him) and trying to be more concerned with the latest fashions. They were greedy little creatures. Fodder for demons save for a collect few who were meant to be their vessels. Even those mud monkeys ruined themselves with simple things like wealth and power. They were meant to submit to the fodder!
But he had other things on his mind other then submission, the apocalypse, and everything else. Uriel was dead. Killed by Anna and Castiel. Had Uriel exposed him or any others who possibly had joined their imprisoned brother? If he had did that mean Remliel should run? He should run and hide. There were ways to protect himself. Hex bags, sigils. But running would make him look guilty. Like he had something to hide. Plus to hide amongst the filth, like a demon. A traitor. The others were the traitors, allowing Michael to imprison Lucifer in such a place like the pit.
Rem's dark eyes scanned the warehouse. He could continue Uriel's work. Unite with others and try to free their brother. Once Lucifer was free then Rem could join with the one brother who would be victorious. But Rem didn't know who else was there with Lucifer. Who would trust him to join up or mention their allegiances? Now that Uriel was dead would there be a witch hunt? Everyone would think that he was out trying to help out the host and find the enemies of heaven. No he had to be smart.
That left Rem with one choice. It's the only choice, Rem muttered to himself as he straightened his back and then the brown dress jacket he wore. Rem would have to help the others. Swallow his loyalties and help the others who were trying to stop the steals from breaking. It was all he could do to stop them from finding him and killing him like Uriel. Maybe Lucifer would still get out and Rem would approach his brother. It would be that simple. That is my decision then. Forgive me brother. Rem apologized to Uriel's memory. I do not have your commitment to the cause to risk my head. The other angels would never know he had joined with Uriel...not out of fear of death but because the humans were a waste.
A waste that Lucifer would soon fix. I, (Rem) have read the rules of On The Road. I understand them and agree to abide by them in order to participate on this board. application by multiplicity! with edits by Forger. lyrics by Soundgarden - 'Fell On Black Days'
