This week, two japanese matches leap out at me.

Kenta Kobashi vs Kensuke Sasaki on the supercard is a cracking match. Highly recommended. The last matches from the supercard - Samoa Joe vs Necro Butcher on the uncensored one and Mark 'Rollerball' Rocco vs Fuji Yamada on the daytime one, are also noteworthy.

Then, on Pro Wrestling NOAH on tuesday, long time partners Naomichi Marufuji and KENTA go at it for the GHC junior heavyweight championship. I can't wait to see that...

Irish Whip Wrestling returns for it's second series this saturday, June 24th, at 10pm

QUOTE
IwW WHIPLASH TV
SEASON 2 PREMIERE

SATURDAY 24TH JUNE
10pm
THE WRESTLING CHANNEL (SKY 427)

Preview

Irish Whip Wrestling is BACK on TWC this Saturday at 10pm!

With a revamped roster, improved production, a hot new presenter in the lovely Fiona Fox and so much more - Season 2 is already looking to blow Season 1 out of the water and set The Wrestling Channel alight with IwW's fresh, innovative brand of professional wrestling!

IwW has cut the crap and this year brings you only the best wrestlers from the Emerald Isle, mixing the top talents from Season 1 (Seamus O'Shaunessy, Red Vinny, Mad Man Manson, Vic Viper etc) with a fresh blend of new IwW names (e.g. Pierre Marceau, Keego Ward, Bingo Ballance) and, as always, we bring you the very best of the British and World scene - with names such as Chad Collyer, Drew Galloway and Charlie Rage appearing in star-studded, action-filled from top-to-bottom cards that intend to display to you the best that IwW has to offer and cement IwW as THE top wrestling promotion in Europe once-and-for-all.

Below is a quick glance at what you can expect to find (and more) if you tune in this Saturday, 10pm on TWC!

Pac vs. Bingo Ballance

These two young warriors make their debut on 'Whiplash TV' looking to build on the cult followings they've already amassed on the British and Irish scenes. Pac is one of, if not the, UK's most renowned cruiserweights while Ballance has been tipped by IwW's fans to be the Breakout Star of '06 and has been called 'the next AJ Styles' by some. These two have some of the most innovative and spectacular offences in wrestling today, not to mention their respective finishers - Pac's 630 Senton Splash and Ballance's BSP (inverted Shooting Star Press) - but just who will be able to hit their move and emerge victorious in this engrossing opener to Season 2?

'The French Paradox' Pierre Marceau vs. Vic Viper

Viper made a name for himself as unstoppable during Season 1. To add to that, he still feels screwed out of his #1 Contendership to the IwW International Heavyweight Championship that he lost when he wasn't pinned during a triple-threat match eventually won by current champion Seamus O'Shaunessy last year. There's no doubt that 'The Snakeman' will look to put himself back in the title mix with a win here. But in his way stands one of the most dominant and impressive new names on the IwW scene this year: 'The French Paradox' Pierre Marceau. At 6'4" and 245lbs, will Viper be able to overcome potentially his most ominous opponent yet?

IwW International Heavyweight Championship Match
Charlie Rage vs. 'SOS' Seamus O'Shaunessy

Two men whose names have become synonymous with WWE as a result of their regular try-outs square off in a mouth-watering main event. Rage and SOS last locked up at IwW's 2004 Super Show where they stole the show with a non-title match - with SOS emerging victorious. However, much has changed in the interceding 16 months, not to mention the fact that SOS is now IwW International Heavyweight Champion! With gold on the line this time, you would have to believe that all the stops will be pulled out from both men in an effort to prove supremacy from to get-go of Season 2 - but just who will walk out champion?

All that and more is to be expected as IwW makes a splash back onto TWC screens this Saturday night at 10pm. Make sure you don't miss out!

Stay tuned to www.IrishWhipWrestling.com for the latest IwW news and information.

Notable this week are a good looking episode of iMPACT, Christopher Daniels vs Azrieal vs Matt Sydal in a very fun match on ROH, and the fact that NOAH is full of singles matches.

Two must see matches this week.

Tomorrow night's 1PW (Friday 28th) has Samoa Joe vs AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels, and the following Tuesday on ROH, a fun segment with Percy Pringle and Jim Cornette is followed by an awesome James Gibson (Jamie Noble) vs Roderick Strong match.

Dear Viewers,

Due to a Hard Drive failure on our broadcast server, tonights episode of TNA iMPACT! and Irish Whip Wrestling will not air as scheduled, and will be repeats of last week's episodes.

This issue will only affect the new first-run Episodes of iMPACT, IWW and the CZW Supercard on Sunday, this weekend. All programming that has been on our server before this evening is intact.

We expect to have this hardware replaced by Monday afternoon, and all first-run programming will continue as normal. To compensate, we will air this week's episode of TNA iMPACT on Monday 31st July @ 9pm, in place of Xplosion. You can see the new IWW episode on Monday night @ 1am, and Wednesday @ 9pm.

The CZW Supercard "7 Years Strong", will air next Sunday Aug 6th @ 9pm, and this Sunday @ 8pm will be a repeat of the TNA Victory Road 2006 event.

Apologies for this inconvenience.

The TWC team.

Interesting looking 10 man tag. I love multi mans...

1PW: FIRST ANNIVERSARY JUST 8 DAYS AWAY….

This Friday night, join 1PW as we make our final steps towards our momentous anniversary show…

DAMNED NATION vs. THE CHAVS
The latest tag team to join 1PW’s ever expanding ranks, Dragon Aisu and Majik go head to head with possibly the most disliked team within the promotion, ‘The Chavs’: Harry Mills and Mark Haskins.
With both teams accompanied to the ring by Gabriel Grey and Dan James respectively, can we expect to see order fall apart before our very eyes?

SURVIVAL OF THE SICKEST 10 MAN ELIMINATION TAG
As promised last week, we bring you the main event from Invincible in its entirety, when all hell breaks loose in the Dome as The Monster Abyss, Sterling James Keenan, Matt Hyson, Jack Storm and Dave Moralez took on 1PW World Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino, Spud, Teddy Hart, Chris Hamrick and Tracy Smothers in quite simply the wildest, most uncontrollable match 1PW has ever seen.
Remember, this is the last time Abyss and Steve Corino faced off ahead of their no rope, Barbed Wire Hell match signed for Anniversary.

Definitely not a match to be missed, this Friday Night at 9pm on The Wrestling Channel 427

The repeat of TNA Turning Point at 8pm on New Year's Eve is the last TNA program on TWC before the move to Bravo 2 - see the TNA forum for more.

RQW on wednesday night features matches from York Hall, Bethnal Green that I was at. Full report from the live show is in the UK forum I think.
