It's a neat video. Have no idea what it is?

I had intentions of moving this camera to a better observation point. There are two consistent problem with where it is. First is the fact that it is mounted at chest-level, the second being that the exhaust from the furnace and hot water heater is right there beside it, on cold days, triggers the motion detection.

Hi, this is just my second post on the forum. Just joined today.
I tried 'clicking-on' the video, but I get a new window from Photobucket saying there was an error. Any suggestions? Well, first, welcome.
Second, don't worry about it, you are not missing anything. The video is a blobsquatch posted to show an example of some of the things people report as "genuine" Bigfoot sightings. I will let Jason tell you what it is, and why he has a cam set up there. Some of us are testing new cameras that we have recently purchased, and getting ready to deploy into the bush. I don't know why you got an error. It worked okay for me just now. Does your Adobe Flash need upgrading? Don't have any suggestions unfortunately. -------------------- “For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don't, no proof is possible.”

I have little doubt that this is a person and most likely Mr. Goldring himself testing the range and whatnot of his trailcam. Am I correct?
For starters, Mr. Goldring would have no doubt checked for tracks considering he posted the vid 2 days after it was taken. Considering there is snow on the ground, most likely tracks would have been visible. And, at the 12 second mark the figure is seen walking from left to right about 2/5ths from the left of the screen. It appears as though there's a building (a house?) far left. So...is it Jason? |

Peter actually nailed it on the head back in March - the idea was to represent the actual title of the thread - Jason's blobsquatch - as it relates to many of the media clips we see which are misidentified. Was not making reference to anything except that it was a blob - moving - and the trouble is, these video cams have such a wide field of view (this was a 3.6mm 420 TVL 1/3" Sony CCD) often leads to a fisheye effect, making the subject distorted, especially when in the centre of the screen, unless up close.
Yes, there is a small building to the left of the video. There is also a platform in the middle of the screen, out about 300 feet. Just a wooden deck from what I can tell with the spotting scope. -------------------- "As long as I stand between the sun and my shadow, I guess I am doing well...." -Stuart Adamson
