I've never ridden either, but I think without a doubt that Hercules looked better. What would have been cool is if they kept Hercules and designed Hydra to intertwine with it! I would have loved to see something like that.

Hercules was painful as heck. Hydra is definitely a better ride for Dorney. It has a unique calling card that almost all enthusiasts know (The Jojo roll).

Was Hercules really painful? I never knew that much about the ride but the first drop always looked cool, going over the water.

Yeah, it was very painful. It felt like it was going to come apart at the seams

OMG! Look at that turn! I can see now why it was painful. Why didn't they bother to smooth that out?

The whole ride overall felt like it was made in RCT. Everything was just awkward.

That turn looks exactly like RCT. You gotta admit though that the first drop was cool. They should have redesigned a new woodie and kept the same drop like the did with Steel Phantom.

I had the good fortune of riding both. Hercules was painful in the turn after the drop and kinda crawled after that?? Hydra wasn't that spectacular and the JoJo was pretty damn dumb I thought. Laser still gives the best ride in the park!!!

That picture from rcdb is really deceptive. Those last two turns were taken at such slow speeds the track shouldn't have been banked, The cars squealed going around from trying to slide down the embankment.
