Rockin' Rider to be removed, skater coaster to be added

Rockin' Rider was my second coaster I ever rode, the first being the Flyer Comet. It's sad to see that my two first coasters ever are now gone, but the skater coaster looks fun. It's basically like a halfpipe where you sit in a seat on an oversized skate board and rock back and forth doing 360's and other stunts. It is an automatic ride though meaning that you do not control it.

I've seen this type of coaster before.

They look pretty cool, but don't seem to be very thrilling.

First off Rockin' Rider has been GONE! The park took it down in JUNE 2005.

Skater has been OPEN! The park opened Skater in JULY 2005

and Skater is NOT a roller coaster.

Skater is not there. I was there in 05 and didn't see it. But I did see Rockin' Rider!

Well if they had photos of it by now.. It must have been open last year

And BTW they also have photos of rockin rider in the parking lot AFTER it was took down................. IN JULY!

Im not being rude or anything.. But the FACT is Rockin RIder went down in late June and Skater opened in JULY!

Dude, I WENT to Canobie in Spring of 05' and Rockin' Rider was still set up!

To be honest man I have never commented on the subject either way. I don't have any intentions of going to Canobie Lake Park and I don't care much about Rockin' Rider.

What I do have a problem with is how you've come in and been and absolute jerk to the administrator of the site (BowserJoe) and a moderator (Coasterrider15). It's quite obvious you have a large chip on your shoulder, and really, everyone else on this site is awesome. We're almost all from the Gadv.com boards, we all know each other, and we have fun. All you've done is come on these boards with an obvious agenda to put down BowserJoe.

If you haven't come in with a chip on your shoulder, then you have alot to learn about forum etiquette.

Another example of your lack of etiquette is in the '07 trips thread. BDashfan listed his trips, and all you said was 'I been to all those parks'. You basically put down BDashfan at he same time adding NOTHING to the thread.

Please stop making the forum experience worse for all of us.

I rode something like tyat at atlantic city once. It was cool. You ghet that cool feeling in your chest when you go up and down the hills. It had to do with something about dinosaurs.
