Is there a day and time for the event yet?
I'm extremely new to UFS but want to test my chops at an AoP...not looking to win but meet people and get the promos that I can't find here in Albany (the UFS scene here is almost non-existent). Also, I'm assuming it will be Block 2 format...is that correct? Not that I have much of the older stuff but just in case... See ya'll soon! -SIN- |

well everything is up on there OP site like I said to your last post. Good news though most of the event's are legacy so you wont have to worry about that. Good news though is all the promos we are getting don't come out for a month after the con so that should make you happy
Do you have a gaming store out there that sells ufs? |

I was being lazy before and NOT checking the UFS site...
And yes we do have a store here that sells UFS...but he claims to not have any of the promotional stuff. He has been known in the past to take the free promo stuff and try to sell it...either in store or on Ebay...I refuse to pay for something that I should be getting for free... Any chance the Jedah or Hsien-Ko (Darkstalkers) or Sakura (SF) promos will be around con time? Actually, right now I don't have any promos so a few of anything would be cool! Thanks...I don't have that much to trade but I will bring my stuff w/ me...also...do I have to register w/ Sabertooth before entering a tournament or can I do it at the con? Or does it not really matter either way?
I'm sure this info is on their website somewhere...just being lazy again... How long have you folks been playing the game? I just got into it with the release of the Darkstalkers set...I'm pleased w/ the game and the support provided by the company...I just wish there was more of a scene here in Albany... Barring any weather events I'm going to plan on making the trip out to Utica...haven't been there in a few years... *SIN* |

You would be shocked at some of the stuff I tarde for. I am a play set wh**e as I have been called. Good? bad? Just give me 4 and I am good to go. lol For registering you can do it your self or on site. At the con might be the quickest way. lol I have been playing sense PA came out, though stopped for a while. Most of my other players have been playing for about a year give or tack. I was dieing waiting for dark stalkers my self. Who do you like playing?

I've built a Q. Bee and Sasquatch deck...neither of which seem to be that impressive...but I know which cards would help if I can find them...
I've been looking at Sakura (SF) cards and she seems rather solid...so I'm thinking about picking up her starter and giving it a go...she's one of my SF characters... I'm looking forward to the next DS set to see what surfaces w/ Jedah and Hsien-ko...I want to see what they do w/ Jedah Special where he slices his wrists and beats up the opponent w/ his blood...if they even touch that one... Are there any cards in particular that you are looking for? Specifically from the DS set...I have some random stuff from other sets as well... Out of curiosity what is attendance like at this Con? And can you suggest a hotel nearby? Have a good night... *SIN* |

cool i got 3 decks for ufs. two from my favorite sc 3 charactars. talim and cervantes. the other is a sf chun-li deck. some time i want to make a cammy deck but i want to improve the ones i have already. sorry i did not intro duce myself but i am jason aka true faith. i was introduce to ufs when i got to utica. where i come from no one knows what ufs is.

Sasquatch is a vert solid character... you just need a lot of the rare damage reduction and throws to get him to work good. Sakura is a tank though if you build her right. Last year we had about 320 people and we are expecting a lot more this year, but I guess that will reflect mostly on our advertising. Our Motel 6 is good but a little out of the way. We are having all our guests stay at the Radisson.

Do ya'll have a promo flier I could print out and post around the area (school, work etc.)?!?
If not I can make a quick one just to help get the word out... My decks are constructed entirely of DS cards...so my card pool is very limited. I'm hoping to trade for some cards I'm looking for at the con...gotta make my list and check it twice  I'm going to get spanked in the tourney...but you only learn by playing people better/more knowledgeable than you...*SIN* |
