Micronesia Cast Speculation

Here's my dilemma: Do I begin posting speculation threads for S16 before the cast reveal is even made official, knowing most of us know the Favorites cast anyway? I mean, it's going to be hard to avoid knowing who is on half-ASS before January 3rd, but I don't want to kick off this forum with information that's not officially revealed, so what do you guys think?

I voted yes. I just found out today by accident. haha And my was it a good accident.

In fact, I just had an idea: You know me PT, I'm all for pure speculation. Forget Edgic! Let's discuss game theory and strategy. I was just thinking that we have "Player In Review" threads for all the favorites. You know, discuss their best and worst moves. Why they got booted, how they should improve/tweak their game in order to do well in their upcoming season. Like ASS, I'm REALLY excited. Unliked ASS, hopefully the gameplay won't be a disapointment!

eta- but even if a few people don't want to know the cast yet, then I respect their wishes. I mean, really, I stay away from cast spoilers all together, because they're spoilers from my POV. But in this case, the cast list is rampantly spreading so fast. I don't think it'd be any harm to discuss now. Still, if others aren't comfortable, then I'm cool waiting until Jan whenever!

I'm undecided, I don't care too much one way or the other.

I mean I like the thought of guessing who might be on the cast, but I'd probably never make more then 1 post about it, and there's plenty more speculation that can be done when knowing who's on the cast out of the returning players.

I'm changing my undecided vote to yes, I just saw Riliss' post where you click to view the cast in Yuku edgic and read it. I'm very excited about this season now after seeing who's on.

Sounds like a good idea for a thread to me. There's a lot for us to think about pre-show thanks to the fact that we've seen half the cast play before, so I think there's a lot of good speculation to be had (even if most of it ends up being nullified when all the favorites get picked off and the most boring castaway slides into the win ).

My feeling is knowing who is going to be on gives plenty of fodder for speculation, etc. When it's a guessing game, you get more of the "oo, I want so and so" "No, so and so suck" banter that's ever so enlightening. We can leave the "Darrah wuz robbed" for other boards.

Alright, unless someone interjects soon, I'm probably going to move in discussion about the identites of the Favorites soon, since there's a lot more to speculate about when their identities are known.

I voted Yes. I visit S16+ constantly to view the cast list. I never view the for sure spoilers threads though.
