You know, I'm glad this place exists. I don't care if people are too lazy to use it or if it never catches on, this type of place should exist and it is needed.

Glad to hear the support, GIMG. It seems like this sort of place is long overdue, and I'll do what I can to rally support for it. It solves all the complaints that people have been posting at Speculation all season, so I would think there'd be some appeal there. If it dies, then oh well - can't fight the sea, and tradition will always be a sea. But if we can get a good group of posters in here, I think this could be a really interesting place to post at.

The separate Edgic board has been brought up in the past a few times but everyone always worried that nobody would want to go to another site just for Edgic. But hey, just add it to your favorites and I guess we'll see what happens. It's worth a try at least. And it's a hell of a lot faster than Yuku.

Yeah, I'm hearing now that past attempts at this have fallen apart, but I'll do the campaigning I can, and see if I can get a good bunch of posters here. I still like that we could potentially keep this play spoiler-free over the course of S16, which would make speculation a million times more fun, I think.

If I can remember that this board exists, I'll probably be in on this as well, even though I only go to the Edgic thread occasionally and never bother with stuff like ratings. Still enjoy discussing the edits, though.

I haven't had much time for edgic lately, but I'll be sure to post some of my edgic stuff like ratings here.

Well, right now I'm trying to focus on picking up members and building awareness (and hopefully getting some feedback). As soon as we get the cast revealed for S16 (which, apparently, will be pretty soon), I'll start working on getting this place truly up and running, so that hopefully it can continue on into the new season.

I'm very very happy that this is been put in place. We've been needing this for a while now.

Thanks. I'm hoping the preview for S16 gives us a little speculate about so that I can get a few threads up here running after the finale. Of course, the cast announcement is when things will start flowing full force, but I don't want things to stagnate, even if I'm still in the process of picking up members.

ETA: I'm also surprised no one's had anything to bitch about in terms of how I've laid this out. I expected someone to think I laid things out wrong, so that I'd have something to fix or debate about.

Why do we even bother with Edgic anymore? Let's just pick the most visible player, and we've got our winner right there!

Personally, I think it's just as easy to bookmark this site as it is to bookmark spec. And if I can avoid the annoying spoiler-touters, then I'm all for it. The problem will be if people feel they have to post in spec as well as here. Maybe we can get flf, chap, or warrior to post the voting-site results here, so we don't have to venture into sucks at all. That would be my personal preference. I just hope my schedule permits me to participate a little more this season, as I didn't even get to watch all the episodes in S15 (HORRORS! ).

Well, I've sent them all PMs, and they're all reluctant (chaperone hasn't yet responded, but the other two have). So I guess you guys need to bother them as well, and show them that quite a few people have already made a migration over to here.

Even before you suggested a spoiled informant, I was thinking you could probably invite Riliss here. He reads spoilers but he's totally upfront about it and respects what we're doing. He's like Edgic's little spoiled guardian angel (no surprise considering he's a Jonathan Christ follower).

He doesn't really do much Edgic anymore, but you have to invite the guy who started it all, 19RedWing19 (I may have added a 19 in there on either end...but I don't think so).

RedWing didn't start edgic (KernelQ did), and I'm 99% certain that RedWing reads spoilers from his occasional posts in edgic.

Yeah, RW has said in the past that he reads spoilers, which is why I didn't invite him.
