Personally, while I've always found Edgic to be particularly interesting, I've also always viewed it as a bit lacking in analysis of several other crucial areas of editing patterns, and so Editing Speculation exists.

This forum is intended for discussion of all the things that make a winning edit that just don't have to do with ratings or visibility. CL, eat your heart out, because all discussion of winning themes and winning edits not having to do with Edgic should go here. This is also the place to find the unavoidable speculation about intro orders, musical accompaniment, and winning quotes that follow 1st place Survivors everywhere they go.

This is not the place to discuss things that fall into the realm of Edgic, including episode ratings for individual players and visibility patterns. All Edgic-related discussion should be restricted to that part of these boards.

I've divided Edgic from other types of editing speculation mainly to keep things organized, but also to diminish any spoiler impact on Edgic. Though this forum will pride itself on the elimination of all spoiler material, ultimately, it's impossible to eliminate traces of this spoiler effect, and so those that wish to remain pure of spoiler influences can seek shelter in the Edgic forums without ever having to step into the potential dangers of the other worlds of editing analysis.

This forum, as is the case for all of No Spoiler Edgic, is an experiment, and is sure to have its bumps in the road. I'm willing to make my best effort to smooth these potential problems, and if there are any suggestions or complaints about the way things are structured, feel free to head over to the "Complaint Box" and speak your mind.
