Episode 3 of True Blood, titled ‘Mine’ is totally explosive. The show is really getting better as it goes along, pushing the envelope with sex and drugs, and revealing a few more naughty rules of the vampire universe.

Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten, above left) still drives the sex scenes like a beast. He does however experience a performance hiccup that leads him to visit Lafayette Reynolds (Nelsan Ellis), in search of Viagra. Lafayette doesn’t have any, but he does have sort of an equivalent, only much better, and way more expensive at $600 for a quarter-ounce. It’s vampire blood — he has a deal with a vampire, trading booty for blood. A couple drops taken by mouth are enough to send a human’s libido, awareness and senses through the roof for a while.

We also discover that a ‘vampire nest’ is actually a lawless pleasure den inhabited by a bunch of vampires and a few human blood-slaves who provide a steady source of food. Vampires can influence human will using a mind-controlling ability known as ‘glamoring’. Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) tries that on a subservient human hunk named Jerry (Nicholas Gonzalez, above right). Bill is about to bite when Sookie, his human psychic friend, hears Jerry’s thoughts — he’s daring Bill to take a gulp and get his ‘hep D’ — and stops Bill just in time. ‘Hep D’ is a mutation of hepatitis, harmless to humans, but capable of weakening vampires for weeks, leaving them vulnerable to being captured — and killed.

Our gallery contains screencaps of nude Ryan Kwanten, shirtless Nelsan Ellis and smoking-hot Nicholas Gonzalez. The 32-year-old American actor of Mexican descent is a cross-country and track runner — he won the Texas state championship in the mile and two mile. He moved to Los Angeles in 1998 and landed small parts in established television series ever since. He also modeled for photographer Greg Gorman. And, like our friend Superherofan, we’re smitten.
