Return of the Riddler:Riddle me this, riddle me that, who’s afraid of the big black bat?Edward would sit behind his desk for hours at a time rearranging the pencil and pad in over a hundred locations and directions. Next to one another was too plain, one under the other made it seem like one was better than the other, crooked was well… crooked. Finally he would grab the pencil and twirl it in his fingers for a few moments and then set it down on top of the same manila colored pad that always sat on the top of his desk. The pencil wouldn’t remain there long, it didn’t feel right, eventually Edward would get in such a fit he would simply throw the pencil and clear the desk.
Some days that was all he could do, the shifting of the pencil and pad, other days he would see a client only to throw them out cursing at them and swearing he couldn’t handle another lost ring or stalker job. He couldn’t do this any longer, this office stifled him, the brown suit and dark tie made him dreary, Edward felt old.
He would stand from his creaky wooden chair and pace the small, dark room, riddling himself as he remembered the girl. She was never truly his daughter, but she was right, why had he acted the way he did? Edward’s eyes would grow big as the look on his face seemed pained as his mind raced like a computer. He kept staring at the closet, that closet held everything. He feared it, was he truly insane? He hadn’t left a riddle on the girl’s body, did he? He couldn’t remember anymore, he couldn’t remember what happened after the staff dropped, after every blow landed and the staff felt weightless to him, he hadn’t really had it did he?
His mind raced as he pieced together his thoughts over and over again, the puzzle began to come together as he paced reverently in the room. He bit at his nails as he walked, tasting the blood as he bit slightly too hard into his own flesh. And then his eyes would wander again, to the closet, what was in the closet again? He couldn’t remember, could he? He started to wonder, had he hit the girl with the cane, no he couldn’t have. He walked over; he put his hand on the doorknob. He stopped and left the door alone, what was in there? He couldn’t just open it and find out, what was it? Edward knew what it was; he just needed more time, one more clue.
Again he strode over to the closet with his mind set on swinging the thin wooden door open, but again as his hand hit the doorknob he felt he had to stop and pulled away. He stopped, he looked at the door, and there was an envelope, a green envelope with a question mark sealing it. The question mark resembled the dozens littering his body. He reached out to it slowly with a slight tremble in his arm. He grabbed it off the wall and gazed at the all too familiar green paper.
Edward reached to the seal with his free hand and slowly slid his hand under the envelopes flap; he then gave a slight tug and pulled it loose. Inside was a card with a question mark glued to the front. Edward’s stomach dropped as he pulled the card from the paper. Who had left him the card? When had they left it there? He looked around paranoid for a while. He studied all the dark corners, the Batman must have been there, he must have found out what happened.
Edward panicked for a moment, what had he done? He felt relief grip him for a moment and yet couldn’t figure out why? He hadn’t killed the girl, he didn’t remember killing her. Edward again went back to thinking about the blows he dealt, but he didn’t deal them, he knew that much, it wasn’t his hand he remembered holding the cane. He kept thinking back, he didn’t even keep the cane that he remembered, it was his old Riddler cane and he had gotten rid of it.
He looked back down to the card and slowly opened it, inside was three sentences. ‘When you look at me, I tell no lie. I show the beauty in you but not what's inside. What am I?’ Panic gripped him as he read the words, and yet he went immediately to trying to figure it out. He stared at the door to the closet. Was the bat behind it, did he think that Edward had murdered that girl? How could he have, he was getting old, and he didn’t kill, he didn’t do any of that anymore.
He dropped the card and took a few steps forward bringing him to the door again; he set his hand upon the handle and rested it there as he thought about the note. Finally a smirk crossed onto his face and he swung the door open, the relief brought by the opening door felt amazing. He almost felt as if he could bask in it like the sun, and then he looked down.
A mirror; that was the answer to the riddle, he stared down at himself to see a man, dressed in a very nice black suit with a green tie covered in question marks. The hat atop his head had one question mark placed right in the center of its black wash. He smiled as he stared, he looked good, all but his eyes, they didn’t look right. He noticed something to the left of the mirror partially hidden by the coats the sat under. He reached in to grab it. The wooden curvature felt very familiar to him, as if it belonged in his hand. He could see the red staining the handle, it didn’t seem to bother him; all of a sudden he didn’t care.
He looked back to the mirror as he held onto his cane, he looked good again. He leaned the cane against his leg so he could reach up with both hands and pull the tie around his neck tight. He didn’t want to make a bad impression on the receptionist as he walked out. He kicked the staff up into the air and snatched it out of the air with one quick motion, he wasn’t too old yet.
Edward walked to the door and swung it open with a large smile on his face as he twirled his cane. He walked past the receptionist and saw she was hunched over in the seat, lifeless. A smirk crossed his face as he realized the back of her head was covered in thick, dark blood. Had he done that too?
He continued down the hallway to find a large plastic bag, roughly the size of a young woman, sitting in the corner. There was a pool of blood under it and Edward just kind of stared perplexingly. He reached out with the cane to pull down the edge of the bag, it didn’t do him any good because as soon as he saw the carnage done to the girls face he realized there was only one person it could be. He again shrugged, stepped carefully through the pool of blood, and then turned as soon as his feet were out.
Edward dipped the end of his cane into the pool and then took a few steps back. As soon as he was clear he started to draw on the tile with the blood. After only a few moments he had formed his signature question mark on the ground. He smiled, very satisfied with his work, turned about, and then headed for the door.
“I guess I’m not so washed up after all.” The Bad’s Just Beginning:Edward stood in the empty subway car; he had been riding it for hours just looking at the disgusting looking faces of the arrogantly stupid masses. To think for a second that he had allowed himself to help such useless people made him ill. He stood with his trademark cane wrapped around the top bar, his suit white with a hat and tie both with the Riddler markings on it. Some people saw him and got off right away, others didn’t even know who he was, didn’t pay any mind to the greatness that was standing just feet away.
That would soon change.
The Riddler had been too kind the first time around, too easy to catch. Edward was determined to not make that mistake again as he pulled the cane down and walked over to a woman and her younger son, the look on their eyes was confusion when it should have been fear.
“Hello, do you like games?” Edward asked smoothly as he spoke to the boy from a knee, looking him in the eyes. His mother looked scared and yet did nothing to try and stop Edward from speaking to her son.
“Oh, my apologies Ma’am I didn’t mean to intrude, it’s just I have recently created a new game and I’ve been just dying to try it out, if that’s ok with you?” Edward was smooth and cool, the only oddity in his eyes which carried that glimmer of crazy.
The woman gave a faint smile as her son looked back and reassured her he wanted to play the game. She held onto him tightly but seemingly agreed. Edward was fine with that as he slowly reached into his pocket and pulled out a little white egg timer. He checked his watch and then went to cranking the egg timer before handing it over to the boy.
“Alright so here is the game, I am going to ask everyone in here a riddle, for every wrong answer lake one minute off the clock if you would, can you do that?” The boy seemed excited as he smiled and nodded. Edward leaned in and told him his riddle and then the answer, it confused the boy for a second and then he smiled again and nodded. Edward stood up and lifted his cane, this was going to be fun.
“Welcome everyone,” held his cane to his mouth like a microphone and from the speaker system his voice was amplified,
“Today were going to play my very own game called Riddle me this.” Edward had rigged all the cameras and speakers on the train to save to a computer he had off site. This was going to be his coming out into the world, his statement to everyone that he was to be respected and feared again.
“The game is very simple commuters of Gotham, answer my one Riddle in time and no one loses, fail to do so and everyone loses.” The smile on his face and the crazy in his eyes was starting to scare everyone paying attention, he made sure not to turn to the boy just in case he got too scared to participate.
“Now everyone has a chance to answer, but for every wrong answer I take one minute off the timer. I may suggest you don’t let it get to zero, losing is no fun for anyone.” “Now for the riddle, I am unknown to the conscious unwanted to the young and greatly needed by the eldest of all. What am I?” The first guesses came in as if it were all a joke, some people called him crazy or yelled for him to sit and shut-up. He just smiled and for every wrong answer he pointed to the boy to have time removed from the clock. Three minutes gone, six, fifteen, finally they had cost themselves twenty minutes of time and Edward smiled. He had picked such a simple Riddle. Finally the majority of them gave up, the answers quit pouring in and it started to irritate Edward.
He swung his cane and snapped a nearby teenager with a Mohawk in his face.
“So you just give up? Do you not even want to know the answer?” Edward was Irate now, his face reddening as he paced. The train came to stop, but the doors didn’t open, as people tried to get to them they were stuck.
“Take your son to that door, and thank you so much for being so helpful.” She was clearly scared of the now very crazy looking version of Edward standing in front of her. His bangs were hanging in his face and his eyes were crazy with rage as he followed them. As they got to the door he pressed a button on his cane and the doors swung open, he and the other two hurried out before the other’s noticed it was open.
“And by the way,” He stuck his head back in, pressed a button on his cane, and his entire suit started to turn green and covered in dozens of question marks.
“You all lose.”He pulled his head back just before the doors snapped closed and the train took off, no conductor in the nose to control it as it gained speed. Edward had rigged it early in the morning to just accelerate when he pressed the button, as he thought back on it he just giggled a little bit. They were all so stupid, so scared of intelligence. Gotham didn’t need those kinds of people, the world didn’t need those kinds of people.
He walked out of the subway, his white suit, hat, and tie now green with white question marks covering it. He strolled out happily, when he was gone the woman leaned down to her son to find him still holding the egg timer.
“What was the answer?” She asked her son as her heart rate slowed and her fear subsided. Her son was still looking at the egg timer as it clicked down each second.
“He said death” her son replied. He reached to the egg timer and twisted it down until he heard the ding that he had been waiting for. His mother’s eyes grew extremely large for a moment as she heard what her son said.
Edward stood across the street as the explosion echoed and the dust exploded from the subway entrance. A smile crossed his face as he thought about all of them. A number of subway platforms in Gotham had been rigged to blow when that egg timer hit zero. His suit changed from the green he had been so giddy to wear into a black littered with small white question marks as he turned and smiled. Even better for him there was no way all those people were going to be able to stop the train, they would simply either hit another train as they continued to accelerate, hit the debris from an explosion, or just go so fast they derail and all die.
Edward entered the transportation building as he scanned his fake ID. They welcomed him and he just smiled and walked on. He made his way up to the communications room, in there he saw a good twenty or thirty people just running around, then at least half a dozen standing or sitting stunned as phones rang and sobs filled the room. On the far wall was a large board, a map of the Gotham subway stations and routs, when something happened a little red light would start to blink on the board. Edward smiled as he watched the dozens of light’s blink; they formed a very familiar and beloved shape to him.
“There’s your clue Batman.” The Big Bad Bat:Edward had been waiting for his confrontation with the Batman for months, setting the scene for what would be his greatest triumph yet. Since the subway bombing he had been the number one most wanted, upping the ante like he did was a clear statement, a call more or less, to the caped crusader. And if the subway incident wasn’t enough the invitations would be. He was inviting all of Gotham to the game this time, and they were bound to show up. The most brilliant part of it was that only the Bat would know the Riddler was really the one inviting them.
The building Edward had bought was huge, a palace if ever there was one. He had paid a lot of money to have it restored for the project, the worn down pillars and ornate tapestry now looking as if it were new, the windows cleaned to perfection, the tiling probably slightly over polished. He had spared no expense, he had been picturing this moment for so long.
The invitations went out in a small white envelope; the heir to the throne of Agana was inviting you to the largest social gathering in Gotham history, only there was no such place as Agana, or at least not with a monarchy, none of them would know that though. Of course not all of Gotham would show, in fact not even all the elites would be there; Edward had planned for that though and made sure everyone could be a part of this monumental event. TV stations all around Gotham would send out a live stream of none other than Riddler Television, a program devoted to the reeducation of the pathetic masses. Early that morning he had made sure to hire a team to deliver small packages to every door in Gotham, which had been expensive as well.
Edward sat at the throne of his palace as the plan was set in motion, and as the time for the part drew close he sent the word to all of his ‘employees’ that it was time to open the doors and let in the beautifully rich guests. Edward was wearing a black suit, unlike his other suits this one did not have a question mark anywhere on it, in fact he didn’t even pair it with his trusty hat, instead he accessorized with ornate rings and a crystal tipped staff he had ordered from a very dubious South African merchant. After tonight money would mean nothing, so it was best to make sure he took advantage off what he had.
The guests poured in, politicians with their money flaunting suits, journalists capturing every detail, crime bosses who mingled with the corrupt politicians, rich business men, and then there was Edward’s favorite guest, the mayor. Edward kept to the background, some would probably recognize him even with his new hair color and the changes to his usual wardrobe, so he waited, and waited, and finally the large room was full from wall to wall with the social elite that littered Gotham. It was time for Edward to make his grand appearance. He flipped the diamond on his staff to reveal a set of four small buttons, he hit the top left one.
All the doors snapped shut, the lights dimmed, and down from where the chandelier had been a large television lowered with cameras attached to the bottom. Board flew up over the large windows as Edwards hired hands quickly boarded in everyone, panic filled the room as people tried to find a way out.
“What has a large mouth but does not eat and grows but does not age?” Edwards voice echoed throughout the large room as everyone stopped for a moment to listen.
“The answer is your ego’s,” he gave a slight chuckle at the end of his statement as his cool voice bounced from wall to wall. [color=green]“You’ve all come out tonight to flaunt the money and power you’ve wrestled from this cesspool known as Gotham.” Edward walked out from the dark at the top of the staircase as men with guns filed out in front of him, some guest screamed, others shouted profanities.
“But have you earned it or just simply preyed on the stupid and weak masses?” The spotlight hit the joker and his black suit began to ripple in color as green question marks began to cover it. A man walked up and handed him a green hat with a black line running across it, Edward eagerly stuck it on his head and smiled.
“Tonight I have decided to find out the answer to the question not even I have an answer for!” Edward said it with such an emphasis on the fact that not even he had an answer for it that it bled through with his arrogance.
“Will the social elite give up everything for their middle class brethren and their families, or is their wealth and power too much to give up?”The large television snapped on and hundreds of people sitting on coaches were cycled through very quickly.
“Riddler Television is about to make its grand debut, and for the first installment the people will be forced to answer a series of questions, if they get one wrong the bomb’s delivered to their homes will go off.” The people in the room gasped in shock as Edward spoke,
“Unless you, the rich and powerful, decide to buy their lives for them. After all they have helped make all of you rich, shouldn’t you use that to save their lives? But then again, who are they to you”Every television and computer in Gotham began to transmit Riddler Television after that moment; any with a camera were now displaying the faces of the people sitting at home to the crowd of people. Edward held the diamond staff up to his mouth like a microphone and through it talked to the viewer’s now.
“Welcome to the Riddler Television Game show! Please not the crowd of people at the bottom of your screen, those are the social elite you have helped make rich, and they are gathered tonight to help pay you back. In a few moments there will be a short list of questions in front of you, for a number of you there will be a substantial reward depending on your scores.” Edward wasn’t lying, anyone who got over a 70% would be disconnected from Riddler Television with no further danger to the, however any less than that would prove fatal if the rich didn’t buy their lives back.
“So please feel free to begin, the quicker your done the sooner we can return you to whatever it was you were doing.”Edward was happy to see scores start filing in, after about three of them passed there was finally a first failure. Edward was ecstatic to put his preparation to the test.
“Oh too bad Carrie from downtown Gotham, looks like you’ve failed.” Edward said this as he made sure only Carrie and the guests he had were getting the audio feed.
“Do you have the package sent, the one with the cigar box? Oh good you do, now listen very carefully, don’t go near it there is a bomb in there if you move I’ll activate it.” Clearly the woman was terrified and she even seemed like she was about to run, instead Edward hit a button and the bomb started to beep and she stopped. He deactivated it and began again.
“Now Carrie, these people in this room all have more money than you will accumulate in your entire life, and if even one of them comes up with… oh let’s start low and say 20,000 dollars, then you get to live.” There was a murmur running through the room as the rich decided who would fork out the money to save her life.
“Come on now there are more failures piling in every second.” Finally a man stepped to the base of the stairs.
“I’ll pay” Edward smiled, pointed, and then had him taken to the back where he would deposit the money into one of Edwards multiple off shore accounts. This was already turning out to be more fun than he had anticipated. This went on for another six rounds before Edward got bored with money, finally he decided to change the game.
A small family this time was sitting on the couch when they failed; Edward went through the same routine. They cried yada yada and the usual; it was getting old for him. Finally the mayor stepped up to pay this family back into life, without even a second thought. It made Edward smile as he thought about the price he would demand.
“Mr. Mayor, it’s taken you quite a long time to step up. Did all of you know that the Mayor has a private fund that a number of the criminals in this room pay into for amnesty? I was shocked when I dug that information up as well. But back to the game, how much do you think their lives are worth mayor, there is four of them, a working class mother and father with a little girl and boy, it would be a shame if a bomb exploded killing all of them. So I guess I have to ask, is their life worth the same as yours, maybe more?” Edward smiled and walked down to meet the mayor face to face.
“Well Mayor, would you give up everything for them?” Edward got into his face and felt the release switch for the cane, when hit he would be able to pull a blade from it. He was going to kill the mayor, or he was going to blow that family into a million pieces and then run the mayor letting them die for the next four years all over Gotham. Either way it was entertaining for Edward.
Before the Mayor could answer the lights went out, people started to scream and yell, and Edward lost track of the Mayor in the commotion. Someone behind him screamed something about a ratman? No it wasn’t rat,
It was Batman.
Edward pulled the knife from the staff and ran towards his escape tunnel; he had wondered when this nuisance would crash his party. He hurried through the crowds as his hired hands opened fire whenever they thought they had seen someone, as soon as Edward hit the tunnel he heard an explosion. Oh yes the Batman did know how to make quite the entrance.
As Edward turned to continue running he saw it, the spiked mask, the long black cape, it aggravated him. His escape was supposed to be perfect; after all didn’t the Bat have to deal with the guys with guns? He flipped the diamond on his staff to reveal the buttons once more, just one push and all the bombs go boom.
“You know what this does Batman, so stay back!” He was not listening and kept moving forward,
“I said stay back or your responsible for killing half of Gotham!” The Bat kept coming forward, so true to his word the Riddler hit the button.
“HA THERE YOU GO, DID YOU THINK I WAS BLUFFING?”“You didn’t do anything" Edward’s jaw dropped as the man held up a small device he recognized as a signal scrambler, how had the Bat figured out what he was doing so fast and where the trigger was? As Batman came closer Edward braced himself and as soon as he got close he lunged with the blade, trying to stick it deep into Batman’s gut.
He was quickly disarmed and sent hard into the ground. He landed on his nose, clearly breaking it as he felt blood pour from his face. He reached up to feel it, just to make sure it was indeed broken. As he touched it pain shot through his face. He rolled over to look at the bat standing over him, he laughed a bit and stuck his hands in the air with wrists touching.
“Alright you win, take me in.” he had been beaten, for now.
Insane? Who’s really Insane?:Edward blinked rapidly as he leaned back into the chair, the cold metal around his wrists reminded him that he needed to be on his best behavior. The pretty blonde doctor sitting to his left was just staring, saying nothing. Edward tapped his fingers together thinking of how to answer her question. It was hard to remember exactly why he had decided to kill his own daughter, in fact he could not even remember how he did it. Edward thought hard as he sat there, all he could remember was being very upset that the girl had insulted him, was that worth killing her for?
“Edward, did you here me?” She had a soft voice, it reminded him of his daughter. She had a soft voice as well, granted everything she had said was laced in sarcasm. The doctor wasn’t like that though, she was very sweet and incredibly determined to help him. He kept trying to tell he that he had never meant to hurt anyone, it just wasn’t his thing.
“Edward?”Why was she being such a hound? Why couldn’t she just let him think about what had happened? Edward cringed a bit and he started to grind his teeth. If she was supposed to be so smart then why couldn’t she tell him what was wrong with him? After all she was making so much money to just sit here and talk, Edward was beginning to lose his temper a bit. It felt odd, he didn’t know what was fueling this sudden flare but it was powerful and it was creeping through his bones quietly.
“Alright well if your not willing to speak right now then maybe we can talk later.” She didn’t sound so nice that time. Edward heard the door open, he watched as the large guard stepped through the doorway and walked over to him. He leaned down to unhook the chain’s, Edward could feel something come over him, the urge to strike, the urge to wrap the chain connecting the handcuffs around the careless guard’s neck and strangle the life out of his muscled body. A sinister feeling he had recently gotten so used to started to cause his fingers to twitch, whatever this was it made him feel amazing.
“Edward stop!” The woman screamed, why was she screaming and what was he doing? He let his eyes wander down to notice that he was hanging from the guard’s back, his hands pulling hard on the chain that was currently wrapped around his neck. He smiled a bit knowing he was strangling the life out of him, but he didn’t remember attacking? He felt a pair of large hands grab him around his ribs and lift, from there the guard pulled his hands away and he was tossed into the wall. The guard were quick to capitalize, one with a solid blow to Edwards rib cage, the other charged forward and released a low kick straight across Edwards face.
He heard his nose break, he was fairly sure they had cracked his ribs in their savage beating. He was still smiling as they dragged him down the halls, face dripping with blood. Finally they reached his cell and tossed him in, both stayed for a moment to mock his limp figure.
“There are six people, all about to be in a cabin, all about to be facing the same way, and all are going to die. Their names are often the illusion of dignity and their faces are often laced with lies. Catch them as they fall from the sky or they will all have to die.” he rambled off with a croak realizing how difficult it was to talk through his severely broken nose. He lifted his body onto the mattress and held his broken face in his hands. He squeezed the tip of his nose with one hand and then reset it with the other. The pain caused him to wince in pain, but it was hardly unlike what the bat often did to him.
“You should hurry, I rarely ever lie.” He smiled, but Edward didn’t remember what he was talking about. Why was he smiling? He looked over to the guards who both had very scared looks on their faces, they were realizing that they had just been given the clue to solving the Riddler’s newest crime. Edward was no longer sitting on the bed, instead he was standing in front of the mirror, he just hadn’t remembered walking there.
The mirror was all plastic, to keep the prisoners from breaking the glass and using it as a weapon. The Riddler hadn’t wanted to use the mirror for himself, no it was for Edward’s benifit.
“I’m with you in the morning through the day, I see through your eyes but only when you look, I act through your bones, but only when your away.” Edward was thinking, it was a simple riddle. He had said it, why was he trying to solve it? Edward found himself reaching out to the plastic mirror with a bloody finger, he began to write. The fist letter was a large Y, then an O followed, and then the U that Edward had been expecting.
What did he mean by you? Then he could feel that feeling fill his bones again, a smile spread across his face.
“You’ve been so boring Edward, daddy would be proud of how simple you ended up. But I think it’s time I get to take a spin for a while, just sit back and watch, I have some things to take care of.”Over Gotham a small plane fell from the sky into the streets, inside were six politicians. After the wreckage was inspected the police found that the captain had a green ? painted over his face. In both engines there had been small explosives that detonated remotely as they passed a certain longitude. The first stop for the police was to Edward’s cell.
Riddler lay on his bed with his arms behind his head and his feet kicked up, his eyes firmly on the bunk above him that had, at one point, housed a cell mate. He had made sure that his cell mate didn’t bother him anymore, after all Edward was all the more company he needed in his head.
“Nigma, we found the plane.”“Oh I am sorry chief, but Edward is on faction, call me Riddler.” He jumped up and ran tot he cell doors as he said it. His eyes had a deranged look about them as he stared down the chief.
“Put on a little bit of weight have you?” He backed of and sat down. Now that the chief was here he could lay his last masterpiece into motion. He had for so long been so sure that the old man would enjoy the game he was about to play.
“Chief do you love your family? I am sure that Edward loved his, or well I am sure that Edward and I loved ours. But Family always turns around and hurts you, it’s like they don’t even care about your feelings. Take Edward for instance, his ungrateful daughter insulting him like she did, he didn’t have the gumption to deal with it. I did though, I beat her with that cane, I tried so hard to show Edward what we were capable of. And then he locked me in the closet, so of course I had to get him to pull us back out, after all this pathetic crime fighter facade is a little old. Then there was the bus, he actually planned that, I thought it was a little basic so I just snuck in and made sure that the bombs were planted. Then the game show, that was all me, he had no idea we were delivering bomb’s to everyone, when he found out he was irate. It was wonderful though, I was going to blow everyone up, but the Batman, he is quite talented.” The Chief looked at him with shock, clearly he didn’t quite understand what was going on.
“See now Edward understands that he needs me, and for my last show I am going to be leaving this place, it was a nice little retreat but there are bigger things to be done. After all think about how many stupid people are walking the streets right now that I could teach a lesson to. While I prefer green I am sure I can make an exception and paint the streets red.” An alarm started to scream and cell doors snapped open as The Riddler finished what he was saying. The only one that remained shut was his, and in the back the wall exploded sending dust and debris everywhere. Before the Chief could regain his composure The Riddler was gone and the other prisoners were filing out of their cells, pretty heavily armed at that.
“Good luck Chief, I hope I’ll see you on the other side!” The sound came from the intercom system, and after delivering the message The Riddler pulled on this suit and continued alongside the Joker and Harley Quinn, it was, without a doubt, about to become quite the partnership.
