In the beginning, a time before times, there were no Multi-Universes, before prophecies of wars or worries of genetic mutation; before ancient beings split light into emotional spectrums of color or even the creation of the planets that would give birth to great heroes. The Old Gods made a bet and slowly shattered the One Universe into trillions of shards, an action that gave origin to the Multiverse, and the Nexus of Timelines. Then They went into their Holy Sleep... but that was Eons ago. Now, the Old Gods have awoken anew and have seen that their bet had resulted in what they expected, into worlds where the fundamental actions of Life and Death were no longer able to control the outbursts of all the Universes, and that the individual members of each realm needed the barriers that Life and Death provided, therefore the Old Gods joined their powers once more and combined They caused a Merging Event. This event combined the Multiverse back into the One Universe, but it also created it anew. Wiped clean were many of the actions of inhabitants, unjust deaths were undone, and others were put to bed, to sleep forevermore. They created a New Universe, like a Phoenix from the ashes of the old filled with the light of millions of lives. I, Eternity, was the chosen child of the Old Gods and always provided with a mission, my purpose of immortal life, to keep watch and stabilize this New Universe, while They return to their Holy Sleep, but not without a new bet� one of which I had no knowledge and was not told... Using the powers the Old Gods have provided me with, I molded and shaped the leftover energies of the Merging, altered the histories and memories of the surviving inhabitants but only enough to eliminate the inconsistencies so that there was never any record of the old Multiverse. So Heroes and Villains alike from every unique Universe always considered that they knew each other or share a common Universal History... But something interfered with my powers, a force so strong it took the core of some of the Universe�s greatest and most loved and corrupted them, turned them against their duty� Made them anew with dark intents and a thirst to rule all they touched. For two of their years I could do no more than watch as former ally and friend turned against each other to tear the world asunder... Until a greater threat emerged to reunite that which had been broken. The Anti-Phoenix nearly tore the world apart for good, but instead it brought together foes like before. Hero and villain alike lost their lives in such a conflict, and those who had been changed lost their will to rule, and disbanded returning to shadow to heal or finding ways to repent for their deeds. It has been three more years since those nights and days of fear, and yet another war threatens on the horizon, the kind of war of nations that this world has not had to face in nearly a decade... Once more those who can are being called to fight, but one question still lingers with many: how can we trust those who turned their backs on everything? And if we can, will they even answer the call?" NEVER FEAR, THE FORCES ARE ASSEMBLING.
