Ancient Hybrid Physiology: Hugo is a hybrid of an Demi-Ancient and a Mega. As such he inherited both strengths and weaknesses of both parents’ species and gives him a wide range of superhuman abilities. Though they gave him a significant advantage, they can also give him a bit of problems. As always there is no rose without a thorn.

* Ancient Blood : Hugo possesses super durability, resilience and stamina, regeneration process and super strength (40 tons). He also possesses enhanced coordination and reflexes.

* Immortality: He is immortal due to his hybrid nature (Ancient and Human) and as such he can not die of old age, diseases or any other usual lethal damage. He doesn't age anymore as well, after reaching his thirties.

* Flight: Hugo possesses the ability to fly by unknown means, he has the ability to fly at supra-light speeds through interstellar space and traverse hyper-space.

Cosmokinesis: Due to his parents powers, Hugo has the ability to generate, absorb and re-channel cosmic energy. He can use this ability to create the following power stunts:

* Light Projection: By conscious control over the light he produces, he can control its direction, frequency (color), amplitude (intensity), and duration. Stellaris can produce numerous effects with the light he creates/manipulates.

* Photo-Lumokinesis: This is an advanced form of his mother photokinesis. Hugo can not also control light but manipulate it to heal himself and others, as well use it to refresh his system. With lumokinesis, Hugo is able to make himself invisible.

* Stellar Fire: Hugo has the ability to manipulate cosmic energy in the form of stellar fire, and which allow him to project any form of energy possessed by a star, including heat, light, gravity, radio waves and charged particles. He also has the ability to project streams of stellar fire for distances in the hundreds of miles, and to mentally control the flame he projects (for instance, to maintain a sustained ring around a person or object at a fixed distance).

* Cosmic Energy Blasts: He can project cosmic energy in the form of beams from his eyes or beams and flashes from his hands. Hugo can project a maximum concussive force of at least 260 pounds per square inch. He can project heat of a maximum temperature of at least 3,000 Fahrenheit, hot enough to melt iron. It takes about one minute for him to attain this maximum temperature. Because Hugo's heat beams can vaporize solid objects, they are often called his disintegration beams, The maximum range for his energy beams is about 200 feet.

Immunity to Fire, Heat and Light: Hugo possesses near-total physical invulnerability to these elements.

Telepathy: Hugo is a medium-level telepath, which enables him to read and project thoughts, send out his astral form, cast illusions and manipulate the minds of others. Although he possesses medium-level telepathic abilities, Hugo is also a Sensor, which means that he can sense presence of the mega gene in others who are in close proximity to himself.

Genius Level Intelligence : Like his mother, Hugo possesses a genius-level IQ. His mind works sharply and with extreme speed.

Beauty: His physical beauty has been compared to "super-model" status.

Skilled Combatant: Hugo has been trained in advanced martial arts by his parents and other super-heroes.

Multi-lingual: He speaks a multitude of languages fluently. Among them are Human and Alien languages.

Diplomatic Immunity: Hugo is the grandson of the Portuguese Ambassador and as such he enjoys the political immunity status that goes with this title.

• Weaknesses |

Ancient Hybrid Physiology: Only an injury that disperses a significant portion of his body molecules, or a force that overwhelms and breaks his mental held over his body, could cause Hugo to die.

Hugo is considered extremely young to Ancient cultural and biological patterns and as such he still needs to develop more of his known special superhuman abilities to the same degree that his mother Susana has in the future where he was born and others of the most powerful Ancients have.

Energy Depletion: At an average rate of expenditure of energy, Hugo can maintain his performance for about 8 hours. The expenditure of energy in this way will temporarily deplete Hugo's physical strength, but it will quickly rebuild itself after such exertion is over.

Maternal Depowerment: Due to an odd twist in any child with Ancient genes on them, their Ancient parent (mother or father) can temporally depower their offspring. That is a common weakness that disappears once the child becomes an adult, usually on their 21st birthday.

Telepathy: His telepathy is limited by hi willpower. Overexertion of his psychic powers can result in nosebleeds or in severe headaches, as well in unconsciousness. Other telepaths of same or higher level can counter his abilities.

Magic: Though he has the potential for it, Hugo doesn't seem to understand the metaphysics around this ability. Magic and magical objects prove to be an enigma for Hugo's powers

Hugo is really an almost carbon-copy of the best features of both his parents. He is really handsome and has perfect body shape. His eyes are like his mothers, though his tomboyish, charming smile his like his fathers.

He follows some of his family traditions and takes very good care of his body, because he is a very self-aware young man. He also practices spirituality nudity, but only in private. He always look great no matter what he is wearing as he has a very natural fashionable sense, inherited from his mum.

Usually the first impression Hugo gives is being kind. He treats people with respect when he first meets them and doesn’t judge people for past mistakes.

Hugo loves meeting new people, and will invite anyone to go out and have fun with him. Never really blinked when it came to something life threatening or scary, in truth he loves the thrill of doing something dangerous.

Hugo is however a bit arrogant due to his really superior intelligence and good looks. A side-effect with being outgoing is that Hugo will tell the truth, no matter how brutal it is unless you are a friend of his.

Hugo also has a short-fused temper, usually triggered when being insulted or his friends being insulted, he will attack stronger opponents if his buttons were pressed to hard.

Hugo is one of the children of the New Universe. He will be born in the year 2024, to the super-heroic couple, Tony Reeves and Susana Sottomayor-Reeves. He will be the first-born of the couple in the near future.

Due to his parents genes, Hugo manifested his powers since childbirth, like his siblings. His childhood and even his early teenage years were filled with love and joy, but also with the strict discipline and value for responsibility someone with his powers have. One of Hugo personal idols, besides his parents were/are his cousins Franklin Richards, Angel Sottomayor and his uncle Andre Sottomayor.

Being a boy genius, Hugo graduated from university on the same year that the "War of Zodiac" began, when he was 16 year old. A mad Shiar sorcerer joined forces with a half-Deamonite and began searching for the legendary 12 Zodiac Crystals. When they got hold of 6 of the crystals they began their conquest campaign. Those heroes and villains, that were immortal and did not ally to them, they sent to a sort of Limbo dimension where they were imprisoned. That was the fate of his Ancient family as well other heroes like Superman. Being somehow immune to the crystal powers, Hugo joined his cousin Franklin rebellion.

After three years of systematic battles, Rachel Grey, the Phoenix, was able to get hold of the other six crystals and destroyed all but one. She used her cosmic powers and in conjunction with the Gemini Crystal, she sent Hugo to the past with the mission to gather and destroy all the Zodiac Crystal in the past.

And so now Hugo is in the past and had come to his cousin Franklin to help him out. Franklin helped Hugo establish a new identity and a new life. The only problem is that due to the time-travel, Hugo isn't being able to remember what is his mission on the past and even with both Franklin and Rachel combined telepathy, they weren't able to uncover his mission, as he only has memories about his past until he graduated university.
