Chapter 1 - Arutnes' Wrath

A sharp scream tore out from beneath the inner ruins of Repora, the ruthless wind blew with it, covering the paralyzing scream. The famous volcano, Arutnes, had let out a wave of volcanic lava, seething through all that was in its path.
The people fled out of the way, trying to ensure their lives as they ran through the vast land of Repora. The scene was of nothing but a million people fleeing for their lives, it would seem that some kind of hell had just been unleashed inside the volcano, and along with the ashes, the air wreaked of Evil.
In time the entire land of Repora had already been covered by the lava, unleashed by the mountainous Arutnes. Although the people have always thought that Arutnes would eventually bring them to their end, it had not been expected to make it mark this soon.

"Look over there!" a man shouted from the crowd.
He was pointing to four people standing on the edge of a cliff, the legendary benders. The Legendary Benders consisted of four people, one representing each element. The leader of their own element, they forehold the power to unleash ravaging powers against people who go against their will. There was the Fire Lord, Zano, The Water Lord Sula, The Earth Lord, Brox and the Air Lord, Silik. All four of them possessed the power that could emerge to destroy everything, even the power to destory Repora itself.

"We're saved!" another shouted.

The excitement of the crowd towards their savior was unstoppable, but as hard as they ran, they could not approach them. The wind was growing stronger. Silik raised his hands, mumbling a few words to himself, he was trembling with power.
The crowd looked on, trying to not get blown away by the wind, but also wanting to see the end of this amusement. It was stopped short by a huge rumbling beneath the ground.
The fleeing people were trying their hardest to get around this mighty wind, it looked like that they were just getting blown back into the lava. But while the wind blew, the lava itself began to be blown the other way. The wind so mighty that it had reversed the leaking of the lava, and blew it back toward Arutnes.

Everything seemed well as Arutnes blasted another wave of lava, the lava pouring out of the volcano and searing towards the crowd. It had covered the lava that had been reversed, and together it snaked it way towards the villagers.
By this time, the villagers have already made their way to the foot of the mountain, looking for a shelter to stay behind while the lava cleared it way. They were hopeless, the wind have already stopped as Silik dropped his hands, and collapsed onto the ground.
The lava approached menacingly; there was only a few good miles to cover before it reached the foot of the mountain.
Just then, a huge rumbling came from underground, the rumbling grew even louder and shook the soles of the earth. The lava still proceeded regardless, but soon the villagers were saved.

Brox had his hands plunged deep into the earth, as if he was tugging at something from underground. Soon, a burst of a formation of rock and dust rose from under the ground, and it stuck together, transforming into a high tower of rock and dust. It was 20 feet above the ground, and it was just enough to cover not only the villagers, but the whole mountain as well. The situation was stabilized, the rock barrier had covered the entire mountain, trapping the villagers inside, and secluding the lava.
Two figures ascended from the barrier, blasting through the cover, and into the night air. It was the two other Legendary Benders that was trying to save the villagers from being annihilated. The two hung in the air, looking down at the incredible lava that was threatening the Nations.
Zano cracked a smile, and plunged face first into the firey hell of lava, and landed into it with a big splash. Sula pointed his fists towards the lava, and conjured enough water for him to walk upon so that he would not have to suffer being burnt. Those two were going to get to the bottom of this and find out exactly what is causing all this chaos from inside Arutnes.


In the volcano, the Demon Lord stomped onto the ground, cracking the inner core of the volcano. The Demon Lord stood over 11 feet and just sitting on his throne he took up about half of the whole volcano. His demonic lackeys only seemed to accent his superiority amongst normal living.
"You impotent fools, how could humans possibly survive my Lava," the Demon Lord roared at his minions. "You scoundrels must be doing something wrong, there is no way that people can survive my lava!"
"Sire, surely it is not our fault. It's those four legendary benders, they have saved Repora from your ultimate power" reported one of his leaders.
"How could that be, not even those four can be compared to my power."
"I'm afraid that-"
Before the leader could finish his sentence, the Demon Lord have already grabbed him into his fist, and crushed his bones, grinding them in his grip. The demonic ashes leaking from the crack of his fist, and slowly hitting the floor.
"How dare you defy my powers..." said the Demon Lord. "Minions, grab your weapons, and sharpen your claws. This is a war!"
