I just reached 25,012, the earliest in four NaNoWriMos in as many years. Always before, I managed to get between 16666 and 7000 a day. I suspected that my typing speed has increased. It has, for sure. In addition, I did my worldbuilding five years ago, wrote everything down, and reread the two books I have already written on this world. No more time-consuming research, at least not this year.
Unfortunately, instead of three days off a week, which is normal, I will have to work eight out of the eleven days between the 20th and the end of the month, which is not normal. That's the main reason I've been pushing to get as many words as possible. But who knows? How high can I go?????
