Here's the newest members of the family.....The little ferret on top is Gizmo and the bigger one on the bottom is Meeko. They are rescues from a testing lab in Greensboro.
(Posted Image) These are my 3 month old pomeranians. The black one is a teacup female named Sweetpea, a rescue from a puppy mill in WV. The Sable is a standard male named Rusty we got from a breeder in SC as a friend for Sweetpea. (Posted Image) (Posted Image) (Posted Image) |

Cute furbabies.
The ferrets were from a lab? What's the story behind that? |

They were used for testing womens hair care products. <_< They were released once that round of testing was complete. As for the pups, I had to put the orange one to sleep. He had parvo :wah It's crazy how the puppy mill pup is so healthy, but yet the one that i actually purchased from a breeder is the sick one. Luckily she is refunding my $175. but still sucks because his vet bill was $160. plus i forked out another $150 to get sweetpea tested and vaccinated in case she caught the parvo from him. aint that some crap. |

Vicky,
Thanks for rescuing the Ferrets they are alot of fun. So Sorry about the Orange Pom. :cry Parvo can come from a bird flying over your yard and Pooping that has gotten the germ from the grass. That's why it is so important to make sure that any dogs you get from ANYONE have their shots before you bring them home. Especially now that you know the germ is in your house, any dog could catch it for the next 6 months. When is the next shot due on your Sweetpea? We do our own with the same stuff the vet uses for $15.00. Hope to see you Saturday, Alan |
