not sure. I'd imagine they are fairly independent. Google that sucker.

so quail usually live less than a year :cry so melvile, herman, and bob may go to the auction thursday so Kaitlin dont get upset when they croke. even the california quail (pretty blue ones) only live for a max of 2 years!! so its either get a male and breed quail or just get out of em all together....last choice sounds good to me. i will get another fowl though mostly because i just spent the afternoon building a chicken hutch and shot a nail through my finger :worry it hurt pretty bad but it only got meat and fingernail (at least thats what i think) and it stopped bleeding (i think also :lol )

Yep, research before buy is good. I discovered that when I got the guineas before I knew much about them. Like the fact they can fly 30' with ease. So now they are in and out of the fence as they like. Good thing they know where home is so they don't go far.

Just be lucky you've got that freedom. :D I've got neighbors that would call it in if they even knew I had rabbits. Of course, it wouldn't do any good, because I'm alowwed to have them...but they'd hate it all the same.
