Joining and Naming:

1. When joining, please register with a First and Last name for your character.

2. Make sure you have read and understood all of our rules, and all the information we have provided.

3. You may only begin to post In-Character once your application has been accepted.

4. Due to an influx of spam bots on this site, we have been forced to institute a policy of email approval for every newly registered account. There is no need to worry, because if your email is valid, all you need to do is go to said email and validate yourself. This will help stop the spam bots.

5. If the validation doesn't come through, leave a small note in the CBOX with the character name, and an Admin will validate you right away!


Applications:

1. We will not accept super powerful characters, or characters that are obviously perfect. Remember to keep characters flawed, and with weaknesses. Also, please know and understand the setting of this RPG before putting up a character.

2. This is a mostly Fantasy world, but with a twist. Right now, we're only looking for HUMANS. That means no Elves, no Pixies, and no Vampires. And definately nothing in between.

3. Please use the template provided when applying for a Character.

4. No more than 2 plot characters per player- unless you've received Admin approval. We want to give everyone the chance to get at least one plot character.


Posting:

1. All posting is to be done in the third person and in past tense.

2. The applications are there for more than just allowing you acceptance to play. Please keep in mind the characteristics of your character as you write him/her. If you need to change anything after you've been excepted (esp. as the character grows), PM an Admin and they'll open up the profile.

3. Your character may not control, kill, or speak for another character that does not belong to you. Also, please refrain from having your character constantly ignoring his/her own weaknesses.

4. If another character gives you permission to move, kill, or control their character, please make an ooc somewhere within the post acknowledging it. We will warn you otherwise.

5. The majority of our members post somewhere between three and four paragraphs. You'll be expected to match them at the very least.

6. Please remember to be courteous when joining threads. Some threads might be tagged for a specific character, and yours might be unwelcome there. If you really wish for your character to be in an otherwise closed thread, politely PM the writers currently involved and ask their permission.

7. Please keep posts tasteful. Sex, foul language, and gore, although an everyday part of life, should be kept respectable. Foul language is fine if used for effect, but try to keep it to a minimum. Fade sex acts to black and post warnings in threads which may get graphic.


Graphics:

1. Avatars are set to 150 Pixels by 200 Pixels, where as Signatures may be no larger than 500 pixels by 300 pixels. Please keep to these guidelines.

2. Keep your pictures tasteful. This site is mostly PG-13, so no pornography please. =)

3. Try to find real pictures and actors for your character. Anime is strongly discouraged, but high quality artwork is fine.


Miscellaneous:

1. You may have as many characters as you can handle. Some can keep track of 15, some can keep track of only 1, so please do know your limits.

2. You are expected to treat others with respect while talking in OOC, or within the general boards. Fighting, bickering, and snide remarks do not belong here - so don’t bring them. Also, we will not tolerate harassment of any kind.

3. Please advertise in the Advertisement board only. If we see it anywhere else (including within your signature) we will delete it.

4. The Admin’s word is Law. However, we might lapse into Jerk mode from time to time, so please, help us out by letting us know that we’re doing something wrong. Feedback, as always, is appreciated.

5. Respect the OOC/IC line. Your character is not you. It is only natural to obsess over our characters, but remember to keep the distinction between real life and fictional life clear.

6. On May 11th, we are moving to a new site with a new, updated plot. This plot will be centered around happenings in Myridia 30 years from the events occurring now. All members are urged to join the new site once it is presented!
