Mausoleum of the Arbiters The Arbiters the Prophets have selected have all died from their perilous tasks, and this is their final resting place. Some of them were destroyed by the Prophets for being useless and disobedient, some died during their acts before their tasks could be completed, others died nobly, finishing all they were charged with and upholding the Covenant. Galileo Station 24VXR Galileo Station 24VXR is a gigantic space station in orbit around Jupiter. The station is of such immense size that it dwarfs even the greatest of metropolises on Earth such as Tokyo and Hong Kong. Its self-contained environment is the most efficient created by humans to date; the only thing it needs from the outside is water, and not much of it, only 200 kiloliters every year. The atmosphere inside, though largely recycled, doesn’t smell stale due to the fact that the oxygen is consumed, converted, and then released in the waste-management systems, and because plants are plentiful in the parks there, so the air feels like it does on Earth. With a population numbering into the billions, the station has every component a major city of its size would have. |

The Alpha Halo The Alpha Halo, known to its caretaker, 343 Guilty Spark, as Installation 04, is a huge ring orbiting around a planet with a multitude of different environments and is typically seen as uninhabited except for a few minor flora and fauna, however, there are many secrets on the Halo to be unlocked. The inside of the ring represents a diverse environment, containing everything from desert, to mountains, to tundra, to tropics. There are also many ancient, and yet very futuristic-style structures dotting the surface, making it an all purpose location. |

Segmentum Solar The Segmentum Solar, the throne of the Imperium. Within its reaches is held Terra, holy home of Immortal Emperor, blessed be his name, and all humanity. Also in the Segmentum Solar is Mars, home of the Adeptus Mechanicus, and the most important forge world in the Imperium of Man. Segmentum Obscurus The Segmentum Obscurus contains the dreaded Eye of Terror on the Western Fringe of the Imperium of Man. It is from the Eye of Terror that powerful warp storms come, and also where the 13 Black Crusades of Abaddon the Despoiler, cursed be his name, have originated. The worlds there are in constant war, and there are tremendous concentrations of the Adeptus Astartes here as a buffer to protect the rest of the Imperium from the threats imposed by the ruinous powers of Chaos. |

Segmentum Ultima The Segmentum Ultima is a vast region of the galaxy. It has been beset by Tyranids of Hive Fleets Kraken and Behemoth, which has caused difficulty for the Tau Empire there and Craftworld Iyanden, as well as the planets under control of the Ultramarines, key among them Macragge. The Segmentum also contains several Ork worlds, which have been besieged and defending against by Tau, the Imperial Guard, and Astartes on several occasions. |

The Tau Empire The young, vivacious race of the Tau matures and grows constantly, its technology rivaling and at times surpassing those even of the Imperium and Eldar. They are a proud race, following a rigid caste system to organize the Empire. It is located on the Eastern Fringe of the Imperium of Man. When the Tau were first found, they were very primitive, using only stone age technologies, but when they were looked upon again a small, few hundred years later, they somehow had achieved tremendous amounts of technological greatness, their plasma technology matching the Imperium's, and their impressive ships sliced through space as well as any Eldar vessel. Led by their Ethereals, the Aun, and guarded by the fire warriors, the Shas, they continue to expand and take more space in multiple spheres, and are rapidly becoming a greater and greater force to be reckoned with. Young, eager, strong, and constantly expanding outward, they are the Tau, and they have arrived, standing shoulder to shoulder with the other races of the galaxy. |
