Look, I'm tired of waiting for it. It's been like, what, 13 years? I did read a Guitar World Article saying that it was going to be absolutly perfect, but after all this time, it better be.

Anybody else have an opinion on the matter?

You still calling them G'n'R?
I call them Axl Rose tongue.gif
Yeah maybe they are decent when they are playing the classic tracks but when it comes to writing, its gonna suck!

I didn't even like Appetite For Destruction too much, if this album actually comes out it will be a disaster.

Btw, Buckethead = Best guitarist GNR ever had.

Slash & Izzy one of the greatest guitar duo's ever!

Slash does not impress me, he has some technicality (but he's far from the best in that aspect) but he really doesn't feel all that emotive to me. Not like, say, Steve Vai or Joe Satriani.

Guns N' Roses are god. I didn't hear about this upcoming album though. They've been working on it for thirteen years? It better be damn good. Appetite for destruction is one of my favorite albums ever.

I see were you are coming from! but slash is about how many notes he can fit into a bar or how technical his riffs are, its about the passion he puts into every note he plays & writes slash is god!

It is the Axl Rose album, and to be honest he seems like a bit of a twat to me...

But anyway... I honestly have to say that Slash IS overrated a hell of a lot, I admit hes an amazing guitarist, but there are much better ones which arent as well known..

.. Yes Like Joe Satriani and Steve Vai.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there - Axl is a magnificent songwriter biggrin.gif (you will notice that a large amount of GN'R's material is credited to him). Yes, the others did have a (rather large) hand in it, but I really do think that Axl can pull it off. I've heard a few of the demos from the album and they're very promising... I'm just not going to hold my breath while I await the release date! rolleyes.gif

On a related note - has anyone listened to the new Sebastian Bach (ex-Skid Row frontman) album called "Angel Down"? Axl guests on some tracks on it and it sounds fantastic! cool.gif
