Basic Physical Description:
Oliver is quite a looker. But in a bad way. He perhaps thinks he's more attractive than he actually is. He has dark, copper brown hair that's almost down to his shoulders. It has a slight and natural wave to it. It is actually rather greasy and looks unkept, although it is maintained on a regular basis. He has a lot of hair, and usually has trouble keeping it out of his face. He hasn't had a decent haircut in a good five or so years. Ollie is not the best hair dresser, either, so his hair is kind of uneven.


Retro's face is at the least, plain. He has dark brown eyes that 75 percent of the world population have. However, they match with his hair, which makes he eyes look even darker in some instances, even to the point that they look almost alien black. Due to lack of sleep, his eyes are sunken, and pink around the sides. He does have a slight line under his eyes, but in the sunlight, they are barely noticeable. They will become more apparent through the years, though. He has a thin face, and they make his facial features seem bigger than they actually are. His lips are ruby pink and are thin and look a bit like they are stretched taut lengthways.


He has a tall, and thin frame. He is pretty much just skin and bones, and if he didn't wear such loose clothing, one would worry about how much he ate daily. He is not starved, but naturally very skinny. The fact that he is a bit malnourished does make an effect on him. His skin is light and pallid, and if he had a bruise, it would be a great contrast, and easily seen. However. Retro is surprisingly durable and rarely ever bruises himself up.


Retro's clothing styles are eccentric and very....retro. It's almost as if he's caught in the 70's, with his Bob Marley pins and 'Love, Peace and Weed", "Make Love, Not War", etc. patches. He tends to wear more loose clothing to hide his figure, and plus it's a hell of a lot more comfortable for him to wear. He just simply wears whatever is comfortable on him. He's not a fashionista in any sense, and the only stylish thing he's ever done is match checkers with plaid.

Personality:

To know Retro, you need to know that he's a writer. That's what he does. He is constantly inspired by the things around him.


This means that he is very observant to situations. He mostly notices people's reactions and emotions, and sometimes, knows what to expect in certain situations. He is more of the wallflower in the party, but he however is never unabashed to ask a pretty girl to dance. He knows what to do and say to win somebody, but hardly ever does it. He feels that the human race in its entirety is too easy to read, that he doesn't even bother trying to make others understand or comprehend him in any manner.

Oliver tends to analyze people within the first 15 seconds of meeting of them. Most of the time he's not wrong. After that, he gets bored and toys with other's emotions. Perhaps this is something bad. But he doesn't do it on purpose. He just has a god complex about himself. He feels that he knows more than people, and that automatically makes him smarter and more qualified for anything then anybody else. In that way, he's a hypocrite. He doesn't stop to realize or look at himself to see how he projects himself to others. He believes that he is well-liked and that every girl likes him.


Retro likes playing the heartless, self-absorbed jerk. Even though he does it half-heartedly, most people do think that he really is that shallow. But the truth is, he hides behind this persona because he's afraid of his real personality, and the fact that he is much a weaker and more sensitive person then he makes out to be. He tends to degrade and berate people with insults to the point where they can't respond to make him feel better about himself.


He has an odd, sarcastic sense of humor. For example, he finds terribly cliched stories funny, and simplistic kid books to be oddly suggestive. His sarcasm is most apparent, but however, when he does it, it sounds as if he's not using it at all, but he really means what he's saying is true and he's not joking. At all.

Retro also possesses a special type of stupidity, the type of stupidity that only intelligent people can have. We'll call this "Ironic Stupidity Syndrome". Ollie will fall up the stairs just for the sake of the irony so he can tell everyone he fell up the stairs, instead of down the stairs. This also means creating fake hype. If he went to a poetry club, he would go up looking all intelligent, and probably recite a poem similiar to this:
Roses are Red,
Violets are Blue,
My dog died on Saturday." And then he probably will run out of the club. It is however cheesy, and few people appreciate his antics.


Ollie overall, thinks about himself, mostly. Because if he doesn't, who else will? He rarely takes an interest in women, and even then, once he gets what he wants, he just moves, heartlessly. His heart was broken, and now he's taking his revenge by screwing around with girls and never calling them back afterwards. But if you can get past all that stuff, Ollie is actually a very interesting person with a lot of interesting insight.
