[Avalanche]

BASE PLOT.

[X-Men]
Although Professor Charles Xavier has for years been helping with mutants at the Xavier Institute, he has only recently opened it as a school, in the month of September with a new school year and has since been accepting students and young adults to the Institute.

[Brotherhood]
Much like the X-Men, Magneto has decided to recruit mutants for his cause. His recruitment started in the month of June, and he has steadily been recruiting new members for his Brotherhood of Mutants.

PLOT I.

[X-Men]
November. Danger Room teamwork-promoting sessions.

-Team 1: Team 1 won the challenge by default.
-Team 2: The simulation ended when Rain/Liliha Cullen fell through the ice and into the water. Team 2 forfeited the competition under reasoning of losing a teammate.
-Team 3: The simulation was shut down from the outside when Berzerker refused to participate and in arguing with Binary, accidentally fried the DR system partly. Team 3 forfeited the competition as well but Berzerker was held responsible rather than the whole team.

-Chasm/Ira Sands forfeited the match against Icarus/Jay Guthrie for the use of deadly force, and Icarus won by default.
-Darklight/Evangeline Petronva and Hellshock/Sinn Fein McIntyre knocked each other out in their match, causing it to be declared a draw.
-The second matches of Chasm Vs. Hellshock and Icarus Vs. Darklight never took place because no one was deemed fit for another round and Icarus won the competition with his default win.
-After the mess of the competition, all members were placed on Lockdown by an aggravated Domino and Avalanche.

PLOT II.

[X-Men]
November. Feeling bored and needing a break from monotony, Psion/Paul Dawson, Magma/Amara Aquilla, and Shadowcat/Kitty Pryde decide to take an evening trip to New York City.

[Brotherhood]
November. Meanwhile, in the Brotherhood Compound, although it's only been day one of the lockdown, the Brotherhood members are already sick of it. Chasm/Ira Sands, the Brotherhood's biggest troublemaker, leads Icarus/Jay Guthrie and Hellshock/Sinn Fein McIntyre in sneaking out of the Compound for some partying in New York City.

November. Teenage Clash in NYC.
The six teenagers meet at a bar in NYC...

Result(s):
-When Chasm/Ira Sands showed off his powers, Icarus/Jay Guthrie and Hellshock/Sinn Fein McIntyre were immediately alert for any trouble.
-Meanwhile, Psion/Paul Dawson felt it was best to leave the Brotherhood member, and take Shadowcat/Kitty Pryde and Magma/Amara Aquilla with him.
-Chasm disagreed, having taken an interest in Shadowcat. He proceeded to set Psion's shirt sleeve on fire and a fight broke out between the X-teens and the Brotherhood trainees.
-The fight ended up burning and thoroughly destroying the bar in the collective work of Chasm and Magma, with extensive help from the other four in the fight. The situation was neutralized when Binary/Carol Danvers arrived at the scene, followed by Domino/Neena Thurman shortly afterwards.
-Back at the mansion, Psion, Shadowcat, and Magma were grounded for a month.
-Back at the compound, Chasm, Icarus, and Hellshock were put in indefinite Lockdown until further notice, and infuriated by this treatment, Hellshock permanently left the Brotherhood.

[Avalanche]

PLOT III.

[Generation X]
Late November. Berzerker and Hellion/Julian Keller strike up a partnership, and Hellion has a few ideas of leadership that he'll put into action with Berzerker's help. Generation X is a team that all the X-Students formally belong to, but Hellion is interested in forming a inner social group consisting of the few he considers to be the most powerful and capable mutants.
Now it's a matter of who gets an invitation... and whether they accept or not.

December. Recruitment for the Hellions starts, and Hellion/Julian Keller successfully invites two Generation X students, Prodigy/Cho Yon Han and Gaia. Meanwhile Berzerker approaches Pryo/St. John Allerdyce, who also joins the clique.

December 12. The First Meeting of the Hellions

-The meeting was cut short after scarcely being started due to a sudden intrusion of Generation X students who piled into the dining room after a training session.
-Actually satisfied that he didn't have to lead the meeting, Berzerker postponed the meeting without setting a new date and instead encouraged the other members to meet individually with the words of, 'just talk together sometime'.
-Soon after, Hellion/Julian Keller, who would have otherwise arranged a second meeting, was called home for unknown personal reasons and briefly took leave of the mansion for the winter holidays.

PLOT IV.

[Morlocks]
November & December.
The Morlocks were more of a small gathering of outcast mutants than a formal mutant alliance. There was no official leadership until about three years ago, when it gained leadership under the sometimes-brash but protective Berzerker.

Recently however, in the month of November, Berzerker left the underground to pursue a temporary arrangement with the Xavier Institute and its leader, Charles Xavier.

This left the Morlocks in disarray, and it was then that a second leader stepped up to take charge: Callisto, a strong mother figure amongst the Morlocks since her joining nearly two years ago. Due to Berzerker's frequent topside ventures in the last year before his temporary leave to the Xavier Institute, Callisto had never quite been satisfied with his leadership and in what she found to be reckless abandonment of the Morlocks, she did what only seemed necessary and took up leadership. She plans on turning the small group into a community, so more mutants can find sanctuary in the tunnels.

Callisto's new leadership is still quite new, having only started a week or so before the month of December, and there is still some division amongst the Morlocks regarding the new leadership. Many Morlocks however, are certain that they cannot go back topside, and/or do not wish to return topside, and this will be the deciding factor in following Callisto's potentially more stable leadership for many mutants.
Even those that remain distinctly loyal to Berzerker are mostly willing to let Callisto have the leadership position until his return, however, so the real friction may not take place until his full time return...

Result(s):
-As Berzerker did not return in the month of December, Callisto's leadership strengthened, though she did not gather full support still. Regardless, a few have now turned fully against Berzerker in what is deemed as his abandonment and several have given Callisto their full and unwavering loyalty. The underground community has slowly started to grow.
-Unknown to the Morlocks, Berzerker did not return due to an unexpected and yet not understood power surge that constantly had him unintentionally use or over-use his powers, which he deemed extremely dangerous in the sewers of the underground, thus leading to his decision in remaining at the mansion without any visits.
