Chapter 1 (The creation)

Zeke Baxter was your ordinary average 13-year-old kid. His parents, however, were anything but ordinary. They were the local material scientists in Sacramento, California and had recently started with experimentation in metals. Although they had found their labs supply of adamantium was severely temperamental and was not yet ready for testing. Therefore, they had taken the liberty of making a new metal, out of a strong bond of liquid metal they had made. This new metal had rather odd characteristics, it freezing rather quickly at room temperature.

They studied this strange metal for about a year, trying to decide what gave it these strange characteristics. Soon, they found that it was the strange bond the metals had, it made the structure strong, but the atoms were as tightly packed together as one of the pieces. However, the metal, as strange as it was already, could not get the testing it needed.

Then what appeared to be a dark cloud over their heads, a disease came upon Zeke, which was eating away his bone structure, forcing him to be in a wheelchair for several months, before his parents came up with an idea. Soon, he was found in surgery, performing the first human testing of the metal. His parents, along with several doctors, had invented a metal skeleton, which would bend and flex and move like a regular skeleton. After hours of complex and difficult surgery, they had finished successfully. However in order to finish the project the way they wanted to, they had to fire Dr. Manson, who had been working on a chemical to bond human DNA with that of another organism, however it had to be placed on an open part of the body. He had requested to bond the metal to him, making his entire body one giant metallic being, but his parents refused, knowing the metals freezing temperature, might have left him a statue forever.

Soon, Zeke was walking around again like a normal child, when stories of heroes like Captain America and Spider-man came on the news. Here, his life had begun to change. He had began looking at his metallic skeleton as his own superhuman ability, it just hadn't shown itself yet. Soon, his mind became clouded with thoughts of superpowers and being a hero, and he came to one of his father's old friends. His name was Dr. Mortimus, and he was one of the doctors who had created his metal skeleton. He had told him of his wants for superpowers, and the doctor had confessed to him a secret of his own. He had made a second skeleton, but it was more dangerous then the one Zeke had inside him already. The skeleton was to have a sack-like object over his hands that would store nanobots that were designed to melt ay metal that it came across, save adamantium, and blend it with any other liquidated metal already stored, a material much like his metallic endoskeleton. He would also have to make several adjustments, to allow it be excreted from his arms. However, it would need to be done very slowly, so as not to cause massive bleeding and to allow the metal to freeze properly, which would begin immediately once it hit room temperature or lower.

He had requested for the skeleton to be done, and he called up several doctors, excluding his parents, since he didn't want them to know. The project went off without a hitch. He tested the “sack's” ability, by thinking of a small knife, which slowly appeared out of his wrist, a few drops of blood coming after him. The doctor had explained that he had managed to place it around his veins, so as to cause minimal bleeding. He thanked him, and was bandaged up. The doctor explained that, because of the metal's unique structure, if you get metal close enough to an open would on your arm, the “sack” will take it in, but also that the “bag” had limits, the most important, being that it could only hold about a drawer full of butter knives each.

He thanked him and went on his way. He had gone home and explained to his parents the whole thing. Of course, they were very angry and grounded him for months. When they finally accepted his new powers, they let him free from grounding and he quickly went on his way, however, he was told not to show anyone his powers, and he agreed. He was finally able to have powers like the superheroes on TV. However, the day after his grounding was over, a new story came on TV. It the the arrest of Dr. Manson, who had tried to force a boy into doing his test. The boy's name was Timothy Schwartz. Zeke's dad as saying things like, 'Thank goodness' and 'about time', since they never really had a taste for Dr. Manson.

He had tried to force the same serum on Timothy that he had tried to pull on him. The boy supposedly ran out in tears and hasn't been seen since. In the background, the doctor was heard screaming things like 'monster' and 'frightful', but what they were about neither he, nor his parents figured out. Now, six years later, Zeke goes by the name of Metalmorph and has stopped minor villainy across California. Unfortunately, his big time dream of becoming a real superhero, has yet to be realized, but that could all change in an instant.

((NOTE: This is actually a comic idea I have, but I would like at least 2 positive pieces of feedback, either through PM or post, before I post the next chapter.))

Chapter 2 (The Start of a Hero Pt. 1)

This just in, another child sent to Psychiatric Clinic!

That was the message plastered on all of the local news shows. It was getting rather annoying, almost 10 kids in the past two weeks had gathered something that had them diagnosed as being insane. It was depressing, yes, but hearing the message was getting old. It was starting to be a part of one of the police's biggest mysteries, some cop's top priority, but none of them ever found anything. Some gave up, but not one crime-fighter.

Zeke Baxter was always persistant, some call him hard-headed, and he was set on solving this mystery. He thought he might finally have something big on his hands, but he was stuck listening to police monitors until then. Zeke sat in his car, parked in an alleyway, the police scanner being the only sound coming into the car, unless some kind of trash hit the car. He was starting to tire, nothing coming up except for the occasional speeder.

He wanted news or a lead on whatever was caused the frequent insane preteens. However, he soon had settle for a robbery. “Attention robbery reported at Gary's Fine Jewelry!” the man on the police scanner announced. Soon, his key was turned and his light brown car sped out of the alleyway, heading out to the jewelry store. He saw the bright white and pink neon sign hanging above the store and threw on his gray trench coat, stocked with a few rods of baxterium his parents gave him. He jumped out and put on his light-gray bandanna around his mouth, hiding his identity from the public.

He parked outside the store, behind the line of police cars and ran out of his car. It was there he learned of the hostages held inside the building, and he saw the gun held to a woman's head. All of the cops held there guns down, so the woman would not be harmed. Zeke did not like the idea of simply giving up, so he tried to circle around the building to the back entrance. He found the gray in the dimly lit area and began to tug violently on the handle, yet it refrained from opening. “Darn it!” he yelled, his hands hitting door as he refrained from cursing. He slid to his knees trying to think of what to do, since innocent lives were at stake.

*Flashback*
A blonde-haired teen stood on the front porch of a brown, brick house, simply staring at the red door. He was locked out, his sigh simply stating it all. Soon, his eyes jolted open, as if realizing something. He held his hand up to the door and placed his arm against the keyhole. He flinched for a moment, and then turned his arm, until a light click was heard. When he removed his arm, a small key protruded from his arm, before quickly appearing to be eaten by that very arm, it bleeding immediately afterwards. He then turned the handle and walked inside, going to look for a band-aid.
*End of Flashback*

That boy was Zeke, and it gave him the idea to use it once more. He placed his arm against the lock and unlocked the door. He burst inside and shot a small metal spike at the man with the gun, pinning his shirt to the wall, lots of target practice their to help him that. However, now his arm was bleeding in two different sections, and it was less than comfortable. “Now you stay there and let the nice men in the blue outfits have their chat with you.” he said, before handing his trademark, a coin with two M's on it to the lady who was formerly a hostage, before signaling to the police it was okay to come inside. He then ran outside and took off his trench coat and bandanna, before getting back into his car. This was probably not the best decision for Zeke, for on the ride home his window was smashed open and terrifying face was shown through the window, its eyes were bright yellow as it's tongue lapped everywhere across his wooden face, like some sort of deranged puppet.
