During the summer in Memoir, God's absence from the city began to show. People began to riot in the streets destroying businesses and homes, going as far as to murdering people. Supernatural beings still managed to keep their existence secret, but they too were subjected to the horrors of the riots and killings. During midday's peak on the summer solstice an eclipse came, and this was when the violence reached its peak. Memoir seemed destined to be ran into the ground, to fall to ruins like ancient Rome, yet not all hope was lost. Out of the shadows came nine cloaked figures. Hoods drawn, shadows cast over their face, no one knew who exactly these beings were real. Their presence distracted everyone, both mortals and supernatural beings alike stopped the rioting to just stare. As quickly as the violence came it faded entirely for the presence of these figures seemed to have a tranquil effect over everyone. Drawing their hoods back, the cloaked figures revealed themselves as gods and goddesses, and announced that they are taking over the city. Since then there has been no violence, and they have watched over Memoir. Not everything is destined to stay peaceful forever, and there are whispers among citizens that another civil war may still be in the distant future. The war between supernatural creatures commenced once more, and they battle in secret for control over the city, for the right to exist. Time will only tell if their actions will cause the serenity to shatter into a million splintered fragments. Will you keep the peace, or will you urging on the fight?
