MVC is an intermediate to advanced Future-fantasy Superhuman RPG. We stress dynamic, balanced characters and cooperative story-telling. We have a semi-long application, and a 150 word count minimum. Before joining, be sure to read the FAQ's and Rules and register with your characters first and last names, using correct spelling and capitalization. This site accepts original characters only. Staff isn't always home, so Guests may use the Guest House or Cbox if they wish to leave a message for the Admin.	*CY 2273* World War Four scorches the Earth. The ecosystem ravaged; the global economy devastated. Electromagnetic bombardment rendered the world�s data networks obsolete. To rebuild, the remnants of a shattered Earth merged into a single unified society, erecting a city to be a beacon of hope for Humanities uncertain future. A new city. The Megacity CY 2300s Humankind grows. Its former glory restored. A season of peace and prosperity is known. New advances in science, technology, medicine and Artificial Intelligence simplified life for all. Humanity had redeemed itself...it seemed CY 2596 Unknown to all, the bio-nuclear bombardment of World War IV had altered the Human genome. A new and strange species of Humanity emerged: the Axion. Human beings who possessed astounding, sometimes frightening abilities. The radioactive fallout of the last world war altered the course of Human evolution spawning a new race borne from the irradiated genes of common Homosapiens. Initially they were only feared. But time was not long before fear gave way to mistrust. Contempt not far behind CY 2609 Apprehensive of losing the fragile peace they had attained the War Council created the Axion Suppression and Control Act. Under this law Axions were forced to surrender to routine examinations and DNA registration with the Law District or face swift and severe sentencing. The War Council began close monitoring of Axionkind, hoping to deter any possible future Axion insurgents CY 2618 Thousands were subjected to inhumane experiments in the name of helping Axions cope with their inhuman abilities. The vamp did not last long. Axions, not wanting to be controlled, rebelled against an establishment that wanted only to control or eliminate them. Violent riots soon began. A frustrated War Council responds to civil unrest by creating the Genetic Manifesto, a formal declaration of Human Genetic Superiority and infallibility and in many other respects, a declaration of war. These 'Gene Laws' lead to the vehement proscription of the very existence of any form of organic sentient life not entirely and verifiably human. The very state of being an Axion was considered treason against Man TODAY Humanity�s fate is uncertain. Corrupt corporations spew propaganda to lethargic masses. Axion-related crime is at an all-time high. Within the Megacity a silent war is being fought between Humanity and its wayward offspring The Hubris of Man begins anew... Cookies and cookie usage

Using cookies is optional, but strongly recommended. Cookies are used to track topics, showing you which topics have new replies since your last visit and to automatically log you in when you return.

This board will also allow you to remove the long session id's found in the URL's. You can do this by entering your control panel (click the link at the top of the board) and entering the 'Board Settings' section. It is recommended that you enable this feature because you may experience problems if your internet connection shares a proxy and you share a link with another user. If in doubt, choose to hide the session id.

Clearing Cookies

You can clear the cookies at any time by clicking on the link found at the bottom of the main board page (the first page you see when returning to the board). If this does not work for you, you may need to remove the cookies manually.

Removing Cookies in Internet Explorer for Windows

Close all open Internet Explorer Windows
Click on the 'start' button
Move up to 'Find' and click on 'Files and Folders'
When the new window appears, type in the domain name of the board you are using into the 'containing text' field. (If the boards address was 'http://www.invisionboard.com/forums/index.php' you would enter 'invisionboard.com' without the quotes)
In the 'look in' box, type in C:\Windows\Cookies and press 'Find Now'
After it has finished searching, highlight all files (click on a file then press CTRL+A) and delete them.

Removing Cookies in Internet Explorer for Macintosh

With Internet Explorer active, choose 'Edit' and then 'Preferences' from the Macintosh menu bar at the top of the screen
When the preferences panel opens, choose 'Cookies' found in the 'Receiving Files' section.
When the cookie pane loads, look for the domain name of the board (If the boards address was 'http://www.invisionboard.com/forums/index.php' look for 'invisionboard.com' or 'www.invisionboard.com'
For each cookie, click on the entry and press the delete button.

Your cookies should now be removed. In some cases you may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
