- I find that hilarious. There goes my old glove...IN COLOR!
- I think that's better than my earlier starts at coloring. Anyone remember those?
- Here's something I always noticed. Whenever I see comics that are just starting (experience wise) they always use sharp brushes at first.
- So how long did it take?

inking filling and shadding all took 3 hours.

i will never give you s**t ever again... i promise.

then again it Was a very rough sketch, that probably didnt make it any easier, and alot of the time was just figuring out how to do it.

- Do you want my pencil sketch of Agent Cole? I would like to see how long it takes you. Those Info page pictures I span over 2 days.
- I am definitely faster now that I was 1 year ago. If you look at the calendar archives...no I'm not (I was on fire in June). But I know I'm doing more intricate things. Like look at the site or all the textures, shading, better proportions and animation I can pull off now.
- Now you're next step is to find out a pattern. You're right, a lot of time is used up planning. Which I wish I would have a absolute image in my mind and know the steps I'm going to take before I start drawing. Come up with a routine that you can follow each time. The constant practice will make you faster.

- Here you go: Link. It's not quite the original scan. I shrunk it and compressed it a little because I'm paranoid about uploading my originals.
- Don't feel like texturizing the fur? How about the clothes? If you look at my Info page drawings, I try make fabric and wrinkles.

another half hour, so the whole think took me only an hour. im happy with that. also instead of cell-shading i used the built in inner shadow effect, im happy with that too. this IS the style i will be using with my comic.

- Aw man. Innershadow. I know that effect well. Before I started this comic I used that effect all the time. I thought it would save time. Then I realized, the shadows make no sense. It assumes every line is an edge and shades off that.
- You forgot the lasersight on the gun. Also, some lines weren't transferred correctly (Wrist and side left leg pocket). When inking, don't follow the pencil. Pencils are flawed. Make variations based off what you know it'll look like. Like notice how I make lines thicker/thinner and end as a sharp edge.

- Sure, just go click the link I posted above for my penciled scan. Let's see if you can outdo Halfwing. Who's will be closest to the original?
- And stop asking me for permission. Just do it. I typically just allow anyone to do anything.
