Description: The Ryo Long Blade is a variant of the Ryo Combat Knife, and is the third weapon in the vibrating blade series by Ryo Inc. Similar to the short blade with the addition of six inches (totaling at eighteen inches) to the blade and four to the handle, the Long Blade acts as a modern day sword. Beyond this, a button was placed at the top of the handle to activate the energy source. Like the predecessor, the blade was given the name in an attempt to spread word about the technologies corporation. Similar to the Combat Knife and Short Blade, the Long Blade has an outer layer of titanium, with a split on the top side of the blade specifically designed to output energy in the form of supersonic waves that act to increase the power of strikes. These strikes can potentially overload armor and barriers, being superior in this larger weapon than the Combat Knife. Due to the unique power output, this blade is capable of cutting through every skin type excluding the forehead plates of Krogans. The energy source is stored within the handle of the blade, and can last for a maximum of Five months of activation before it needs replacement. Even without power, the Ryo Knife can still be use as a standard Melee weapon. Please note that the person striking the opponent must put in the appropriate effort, and the thicker skins require the most effort.
