New enemies called the Collectors and new Husks; they're creepy as hell.

9 Mins of Omega action with cameo by one Badass Garrus.

Look like there's an Asari running the show on Omega. Also, remember how we have that Geth faction? Guess what turned out to be the case. Some creepily awesome lines there.

Legion: "We do not experience fear, but we understand how it affects you."

Thing's got an awesome voice effect.

Collectors are some sort of insect hivemind (of course) with BEAM WEAPONS! Enthusiasm aside, the flying aspect seems mildly interesting. Plus they have a super-bug version.

Husks have been given some work with exploding zombie types that are on fire (abominations), heavy weapon zombies (scions), and nightmare-fuel flying zombie of doom (batorian, which sounds like a batarian).

We get a good look at the YMIR Mech (Shepard tears through it like a hot knife through butter). user posted image

It also show three health types: shields, armour and health for gameplay.

Speaking of gameplay, ammo returns in the form of heatsinks. Fire your shots, eject the heatsink and slap in a new one. Kinda makes sense from the engineering point of view because heat takes forever to dissipate without active cooling.

Final word, Garrus looks like he's been on a bender but still kicks ass with a sniper rifle.

Indeed. Things are looking up as far as past MEU plotlines have gone. We may not have to change much.

I agree that batorian is a bad name choice. Too much like batarian. I can see some confusion in the future springing from that. At the same time, though, they probably thought it was realistic to have a few similar names.

I like that they've expanded all of the old enemies. Finally, it's not pirates, husks, or geth that you're gonna be fighting. Looks like there's going to be some fun diversity in enemies. It also looks like most of them are going to have different, interesting strategies in fighting them, which will be fun.

I also agree that Garrus looks a little haggard. I like it though. It's a change, and where Wrex in the first game was constantly poking fun at Garrus for being naive, it looks like he's grown up a little. I just hope that they don't push it too far. Garrus was one of the crowd favorites as far as characters went in the first game, and I hope that they don't take it too far, because that would ruin what's already been established. I'm also a little disappointed that it looks like he won't be a party character, but at least he's still around.

I really shouldn't worry, though. I'm sure they'll do a great job. They have so far.
