Well, I'm not feeling sorry about it. I didn't much think STO would be worth a monthly transaction.

While that may be true, I haven't really played STO, I can guarantee that TOR is not worth the monthly subscription.

I got a free month of TOR on one of my friends, and my copy was a gift, therefore,

But it's a monthly subscription last I checked. Unless you're only playing it for the free month and are just squeezing out every bit of it. In which case, you're telling me it's not worth the monthly subscription.

I point out a contradiction in your post and I get called a fuckstick? You talked about how I "implied" or something that you'd have to pay a fee once the free month is up. And I'm right, it's called a monthly subscription. So either I misread that incorrectly or you worded it a little awkwardly.

Still, rather classy of you. While I won't stoop to your level, I'll probably ask you this:

I'm assuming you know about the spawnkilling problems in... what was it, Ilia? I honestly can't remember. Anyway, the Empire were staying in this one spot killing any Republic players who stepped out-

Actually, let me ask real quick. How can the Republic and Empire exist at the same time? Granted, BioWare loves reaming their own lore on a daily basis, but there was already established story in this case. It was Sith, not Empire. But oh well, I digress.

So Empire players have ill-gained valor points and some of the best equipment in the game. The engine TOR uses cannot use a rollback function so unless BioWare steps in directly, the good 70% or so of the playerbase that plays Sith will get their amazing gear from camping.

The best part is that when a Republic player found a way around this trap, ONE OF THE FORUM MODS CLOSED THE THREAD BECAUSE HE CALLED IT AN EXPLOIT. EVEN THOUGH THE EMPIRE WERE USING AN EXPLOIT TO GET VALOR POINTS.

So my question is how BioWare is going to solve this obvious balance issue?

Quite honestly, I've never seen a developer blunder as much nor as badly as they've done now.

I was fine when you were just ragging on TOR. Till you started making passive aggressive little pissant comments about me.

You talk about me like I'm some fervent supporter of TOR. I'm not. Read my posts for once, with an objective eye this time, instead of as "this guy plays TOR, therefore is stupid, as are all of his posts". I didn't pay for the copy of the game. I didn't pay for the first month of the subscription I played on. I supported NOTHING. I plan not play anything, but nor did I say I didn't think the game is worth playing for. Knowing how you work, I know you are going to dismiss me as some kind of Bioware Cultist now. That may be fine for you, but it sure as hell pushes my buttons. Yes, Bioware isn't perfect, and they've made a lot of crap design decisions. Take it out on them, not me.

Yes, I don't plan to pay any subscription fees after this month is up. But it is not, as you imply, a value judgement. I'm budgeted tighter than a SyFy movie of the week. I don't have money for ANYTHING. I buy one video game a year. I can count on two hands the amount of times I've eaten out last year. And yes, that makes me a Bioware Sycophant.

Whether or not you pay for the monthly subscription after the month is up is up to you, though I'd wait for the inevitable time when it goes f2p. Since it will. And for the record, anyone who continues supporting BioWare with monthly subscriptions to this IS stupid. Objectively.

Besides, I don't have to dismiss you as a BioWare Cultist. I mean, after this disaster, I'm sure I'll not be the only one cancelling my Mass Effect 3 pre-order, right? I do. In fact, during the build-up to Dragon Age 2, I repeatedly spoke out against BioWare's design decisions. Responses? "LOL IT'S NOT EVEN OUT YET DON'T JUDGE." Rented the game, biggest piece of crap I've played this year.

Your opinion isn't invalid because you enjoyed yourself, despite the very definition of "fun" being tossed around more than a sorority girl seeking attention when it comes to this game.
