History:
Blite saw that tourism, selling things to people whom are not from your species was an important way to make money in the present. So, he used proper channels, finding out everything he would need in order to build his vision. The Plans were relatively simple, but expensive. It would take forty years for them to get all the supplies, but construction went well, and every time they had the money they would add onto the building. Then, it was finally done.
The idea was simple, factions could enter contestants into the Gladiator Ring, and depending upon performance they would get a certain percentage of the 'house take.' All bet contributions went to the House, and this provided a good boost of credits. Bounty Hunters, Mercs, Low-Lifes, Gambling Junkes, all made there way to the Asteroid at one time or another. It was addictive, and business was rarely slow, violence sells.
Systems: When a fight takes place between (sentient) participants, the crowd will be polled on what type of weapons to distribute. This count lasts one minute, and a board will display statistics for each contestant.
Bare Hands and Melee Weapons are the usual choices, however, gun fights have been had before.
Security: Five Heavily Armored and Armed Mercenaries stand nearest to the ring, so if anything goes wrong, whatever can be put down quickly. Advanced Gun Scanners are used to prevent firearms into the actual Arena, however they are allowed in the docking areas, as well as in the small Market district, where some vendors and bars have popped up.
Rules:
1. If any theft attempts or violence brakes out in the Arena all bets are off, and no refunds will be given. The poster of the accomplice will be posted throughout the asteroid, so whomever feels it there place can extract revenge.
2. If you accumulate more than a 200,000 credit debt, you will be forced to enter the Arena as a contestant to pay off your debt.
3. Enjoy the bloodshed.
Rules: (Contestants
All Contestants will give up their equipment before entering the arena.
Biotics must tell of these abilities in advanced, or you forfeit your cut of the profits.
We will provide duels for an arguing group or individuals, and allow it to be publicly viewed.
We do not accept contestants that could bring undue harm to our properties. (Politicians that have a certain amount of esteem.)

Additional: After winning a match, the contestant can be purchased for a large sum of credits, on a case by case basis.
Hey Woade. I approve of the concept, but I have doubts about an asteroid base for such a function. Would you be willing to put it on the surface of Korlus?
