:wavinghand: Hi all :wavinghand:
Just a quick post to apologise for being AWOL for most of the non existent summer we're having. :gloomy: :gloomy:
I'm having a bit of a relapse and haven't been up to too much time on the laptop ...and the brain fog has really kicked in big time. Difficult to get a sensible sentence out of me at the moment!.
I've decided to bite the bullet and admit defeat as far as my hearing is at the moment , so have asked for a referral back to ENT (just audiology!!) to see about having some aids. I really don't want them, but have had a couple of near misses when I've been walking and not heard traffic behind me. Not good when there's very few pavements where I live!

I've not been very far at all for weeks but am hoping that once this muggy weather disappears, my dizziness and headches will disappear with it.

Hope Barbara and Kath enjoyed the Olympics. Weren't we fab!!! Go Team GB :mexican: Apologies to any of our overseas members ;)
How did the Lion Witch and Wardrobe go Barbara? Were you OK?

Hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying any sunshine.
How's things with you Hayley....any better??

Supposedly the hottest day of the year today....It rained for most of the morning down here and is now really grey and humid. Wish we could have a really good storm to clear the air.

I'm going to have a catch up with all the posts now. Just thought I'd pop in and let you know I've not dropped off the edge of the world!!
Hello too to any new members :wavinghand:

Take care all
xxxxx

Hi Sharon,
Good to hear from you but sorry you are still under the weather :gloomy:
We do understand your absence so don't worry.Hope the hearing aids help. I hate it when traffic creeps up on me, usually on pedestrian precincts where I don't think about it, and then it makes me jump.

I managed very well at the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. A bit disconcerting in parts and I was a bit queasy but I managed ok. The Olympic Park was amazing and so well organised.

Hang in there. We are all thinking of you and miss your humour so please, please take care and hope you soon feel better.

Barbara xx :flower:

Hi Sharon
Sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling too good. I have been wondering where you'd got to! The hot and muggy weather makes it very difficult from a balance and headache point of view. I really don't blame you for going for some hearing aids. I have really found mine to improve not only the hearing but the tinnitus. If haven't got mine in I really miss it now. Only problem is the irritation sometimes but that's a minor thing compared to the benefits.
Loved my visits to the Olympics thanks Sharon. It was all a big adventure and I'm going to go to the Paralympics with my sis is an few weeks all being well.
take care

Hi Sharon

Sorry to read that you're not too good at the moment, hope things start to improve very soon for you.
I'm having quite a lot of "Cinnarazine days" as well at the moment!!

Best wishes
