Hi all, I too have the joy of a rubbish ear and have just had a 2 week cluster of attacks. I teach primary children (a lovely noisy environment to work in!) luckily they know to get the bucket ready and call an adult to take me home if I have a funny turn! I've been trying to work out the trigger as I do the low salt no chocolate diet, but now I've been thinking about as well as cutting out foods , are there any super foods I can eat to help. Anyone have anything that works for them? Any vitamin mineral or herbal recommendations? After being ill in front of people again I'm willing to try.anything again! (after 4 vomiting attacks I'm hoping for a nice period of remission again and want to make it last even longer!) Although sleep is always my best friend. My thoughts are with those of u who have this revolting condition in both ears x ;)
Welcome to the group. :wavinghand: Hope you find it useful.
I've not heard of any superfoods that will help, only the cutting out of salt, which you've already done.
How long have you been diagnosed with Menieres and are you under an ENT consultant?
Unfortunately it seems to affect us all differently and what works for one, might not help another. It tends to be a bit of trial and error to see what suits you best.
Pleased you've found us and welcome aboard
I'm unaware of anyt food that helps - other than cake...I find cake always to be of some comfort. Sharon favours eye of newt, however.
