Mating & Cubs/Kittens
Mating
First of all, your character must be active for at least 3 days before it can mate, this is so people do not join and mate all in the same day. Also, don't create characters for the soul purpose of mating...one male shouldn't have all the females of one species pregnant, and one female shouldn't be going and begging for sex from every male. There is more to RP than mating, so we expect better than any of that. But other than that, your character does not need to know another for a certain period of time before they can mate. You may choose to have a formal mate, or your character can go with whomever, or even rape another...but if this occurs, along with any other graphic descriptions in threads, please mark the post [M] or MATURE. And if a person tells you OOC not to rape their character, then DON'T do it.
In order to mate, your character must be of the same species as the character you want to mate with. There will be NO HYBRIDS of any sort. End of story. While real conditions are different, mating season will be the same for all species. It will be posted on the main "Forecast" board, not the weather boards for each area. If your character mates in or out of season, be sure to post on the "Courtship" board.
Cubs & Kittens
You don't have to be mates to have cubs, but you have to mate...whether that is graphic or not, we don't care...just provide ample warning. Once you have bred, please post on the "Courtship" board with the form that is provided. Admins will decide if you conceived, and if so, how many cubs you will have along with their genders and basic descriptions & personalities. It will then be up to the parents to get pictures and adopt the cubs out to players. If you want to adopt a cub, BE SURE that you can keep it active! We don't want our cubs disappearing after a week. Finally, the cubs will age based on activity. Whenever admins think that the cub stage has been played out, they will make an announcement that the cubs may grow into adults.
