Q: What kind of characters can we play on MH?
A: Any realistic, wild feline character is allowed on this site. Also, please be unique...don't make a tiger if there are already 50 tigers. On each area, there is a thread on the "Information" board with lists of species...pick something interesting. If the feline you want to play is not on the list, please ask an admin for permission before creating it.

Q: Are any unusual colorations/magic powers/etc allowed?
A: Well, yes and no. In the world called "Seifer", the characters have normal, realistic physical aspects. Tigers are orange with black stripes, cougars are a brownish-grey, etc. But in the world of "Viveca", the colorations and several other physical aspects are very different. These are described in the "MASO AVANTI" thread.

Q: How do I know which world MH is currently in?
To determine whether we are in the harmonic world of Seifer, or the malevolent world of Viveca, there are several visual cues that you can look for. For one, the colors of the overall layout can give a hint: If we are currently in Seifer, the layout will be lighter colors and will be, well, "prettier", while Vivica, on the other hand, will have darker and more ominous layouts. A second clue is the images of the different biomes. When in Seifer, these images are in full color, and in Vivica, they are all black and white. Finally, you can look at the "Welcome" image on the left hand of the page, over the navigation tables. When in Seifer, a quote normally with "harmony" in the phrase will be pictured, along with the word "Seifer", and with Vivica, "malevolent" will be in the sentence, and "Vivica" will be written somewhere on there as well.

Q: When we switched worlds, my current topics went away...what happened?"
A: On MH, there are two sets of every IC area. One set goes with Seifer, and has colored pictures, and the other set goes with Vivica, and has black and white areas. These categories and boards are the exact same from world to world, except for their IC appearance, but in order to separate the conversations/relationships/etc from world to world, they each have these different sets of boards. When in Seifer, the Vivica boards are disabled, and you only see the Seifer boards, and vice versa when in Vivica. It is really rather simple, just wait around a while and you'll catch on.

Q: I know different species cannot mate, but can they interact and fall in love?
A: Of course! Relationships of any sort can be formed between anyone and everyone, even love...but love is as far as it can go. Again, there will be no mating taking place between species, meaning no hybrids.

Q: So I have a mate* in Vivica, can I also have them as a mate* in Seifer?
A: While the basic answer to this is "yes", we would prefer it to be "no". Sure, if you want, then we're not stopping you from having the same mate in both worlds, but wouldn't it be more interesting for your characters to have totally different relationships with totally different characters? The "double life" aspect will work much better if this is the case.

Q: I have an Ocelot* and a Puma*, can they both be Alletes in Vivica, even though they are different species?
A: Of course! There are no species barriers when it comes to the three races in Vivica - any feline can be any of the three races, it is up to you to decide which race each of your characters will be.

Q: When I first registered, I wanted my character to be a Suoh, and now I want them to be a Kyne...can I change it?
A: Sorry but...no. Though your characters are different from world to world, they are always consistent within each world. Once a Suoh, always a Suoh when in Vivica...once a Kyne, always a Kyne, once an Allete, always an Allete.

Q: Can I be the King/Queen of Vivica?
A: If you ask, the answer will always be no. For the sake of the plot, the King and Queen will always be the same character - and the players will be carefully chosen. If these players become unactive/don't want to be king/queen anymore, etc...the character will be given to another member that admins will choose.

Q: So are the King and Queen of Vivica also the King and Queen in Seifer?
A: Nope! There is no overall royalty in Seifer. While the king and queen may still act power hungry (because that is their personality), they are not in charge. They, like everyone else, have no recollection of Vivica when they are in Seifer - so they do not even realize they are a king and queen, nor that they have such a close relationship to each other.

Q: What happens if my character gets pregnant?
A: Well first of all, the pregnancy and birth will happen in the world in which they became pregnant. If they conceived in Seifer, then when they go to Vivica...they will not be pregnant. No one knows why this happens, its just the change in the worlds that alters their bodies in this way. So when the world is switched back to Seifer, they will continue with their pregnancy cycle. Once the cubs/kits/etc are born, they will remain only in the world in which they were born until they no longer need their mother.
