Gender
Female
Specie
Eurasian Lynx
Race
Allete
Appearance
Reminiscence is a very different feline than she is on the inside from what she looks like on the outside. She looks as though she would be stuck up and think that she is better than everyone else, but she is almost the complete opposite from that. Kind and sincere, she is far from what she looks like. It is merely a prop that she has, and it doesn't feel like herself.

She looks very delicate as well as intimidating, but she is actually very... Well, unbreakable. Though she is not muscular at all whatsoever, she is strong and swift. She is very graceful and elegant and moves very quickly, like the light flickering across the lightening horizon. She is a fast runner and moves quickly through her instincs.

Though it would be her nature to fight, it usually is not the choice she makes. But if she ever had to defend herself or her pack, she'd do it without question. With her long, sharp claws and jaws that could snack her enemies necks likes twigs, she is always battlefit. She has never killed another before, simply because she feels too much guilt and pity. She does believe all should die, but not this way... and so she simply leaves them alive, and that is that. There couldn't be much that could change her mind, unless she was very angry and determined.

In Seifer, she is as far from her personality as she could be. Her body is slender and petite, with ginger and white fur. Her back, legs, and head are all ginger with dark black and faded black spots of fur. Her underbelly and chest are downy white, with the occasional black stripe or spot of some sort. Her little tail, which is only about two inches long, is pure black and very ruffled. The only other pitch black spot on her fur is the tips of her ears; Her ears are ginger and black spotted, with pure black tips that point up sharply. Along her muzzle is white fur, with black stripes going from the edge of her muzzle to the end of her jaw. Her little pink nose is tinted black, and sorrel runs all the way up to her forehead and ends off with black speckles. The most extrardinary part, though, are her eyes. Bright hazel orbs gaze back with the strangest gold irises, innocent and sincere. Though she looks pretty and delicate, she is really a completely different feline.

Although she's pretty and delicate in Seifer, she's almost the complete opposite in Viveca, which makes her more like her real self. Her dainty ginger and white fur had stayed almost the same, but was tinted a deep indigo color, which was unusual for an Allete. The more faded and light spots were changed pitch black and blended with her fur. Patches of dark violet blend seamlessly into her indigo fur and keep a somewhat pretty balance to her body. Her paws, which were once white, morphed to a dark black. Her hazel eyes had gone aflare to a gleaming orange, but she still has gleaming gold irises. And, of course, she had sprouted wings. These wings of hers go out only about four feet, but can carry her little body far without making herself tired. They are the same dark indigo and have black tips.

Remmi's two bodies are both very different from her personality, though the one in Viveca seems to be much closer to the way she acts. She likes looking this way, of course, but sometimes she just wants to look more like she's... herself. All in all, she is a beautiful, graceful feline.

Personality
Reminiscence is a shy one around new people, though she isn't around her friends, and she still hates being under so much pressure, every feline's eyes following her as she walks. It has made her self-conscious as she grew into the young adult she is now, and she finds herself in an uneasy situation when meeting new people.

Males especially make her rather jittery, but she wants to someday find out what true love is. She'd thought she'd fallen in love a couple of times before, but when they'd betrayed, she was against alone once more. She was ignored as a cub, for her littermates were far more extraordinary and interesting than the little runt Reminiscence; She was the smallest in her litter and therefor worthless, at least as her parents thought. Her sisters fell in love easily and were so happy, and she envies them greatly.

When she's around felines she already knows, though, she can be very calm and content with the things around her. Of course, she doesn't have many friends, for she never really tried to branch out into the social pieces that were missing from her life. But when she can, she loves being sure of herself and loves being with her friends.

Since she never really branched out to try and make friends very much of the time, she has been quite content with being alone and manages well, especially since her family left her when she was young. She isn't the kind of feline who must fill in every silent spot when speaking with friends, and though she always tries to help out her friends and see what's wrong, she never probes into their business. She's a well kept-together animal and knows when it is time to quit.

As it comes to fighting, Remmi has a much sharper tongue than her littermates. Fighting physically or verbally, she can be very clever and thoughtful in battle. She's a bit short-tempered if someone begins to second-guess her, and she learns to quickly teach them a lesson. She doesn't usually show this side of her, but if her pack was under attack, she'd risk her life fighting for it.

All put together, Reminiscence is a shy but loyal feline who just wants to be herself, not whoever they see on the outside. She sometimes wishes that she was much uglier; But at other times, she loves being the way she is, for if she wasn't, some of the males may have not even known she was there.

History
Reminiscence was born to a pair of lynxes by the names of Celine and Zemb. She had no brothers and sisters and was prized and loved by her parents. They didn't live near other animals and never really joined a pack, and so most of the time it was just the three of them.

Being alone made Remmi very curious of the world among her and she and her parents migrated towards places where there were more animals around. Reminiscence was content and always happy. But something terrible happened; A plague struck through the area, killing off many animals. Reminiscence was afraid and unsure, and she clung to her parents with all her strength.

They never thought they'd be affected by this, but they were. Celine, her mother, was the first of her family to recieve the deathly illness. She died the very next day and Reminiscence was torn. She stuck close to her father and they tried to move away, but the sickness hung in the air and soon enough, Zemb caught the disease the very next week.

Remmi was told to leave her father so she could be saved from the sickness, and though she pleaded to stay with him, she took her orders and left. Her father died that day, but Reminiscence did not know, so that kept her moving. If she'd known, she probably would have run back to him as quickly as possible. So she continued to walk away from the sick animals and tried to be strong. She found her way to another society again and has stayed there ever since, switching back from world to world without the knowledge that both her parents had not survived the plague.

Reminiscence stared at her father in mock horror, her mouth opened in protest. "I won't leave you, father!" She shouted, her ears filled with tears of sadness. Her father was dying, and she was expected to just leave and pretend everything was okay. Nothing was okay! It was all just so.... so unfair! Melancholly orbs gazed at her ill father with a pleading look, but it was no use to beg. She knew that she must leave in order to save herself, and if that was what Zemb wanted, she decided, that would be what he'd get.

Sighing, she nodded to him and gave him her last farewell. Goodbyes were never easy for her, and it took her a long time to break away from his affectionate gaze. Finally, she looked away with agony. She wasn't even sure where to go, but she guessed that she should head east from here, away from these sickly animals. Giving him one last goodbye, she turned and walked away.

For two days and two nights she continued to walk, sleeping restlessly and scarcely eating anything. She wasn't taking well to being alone, but slowly she was able to get the hang of things. Hunting wasn't hard at all, but it was the depth of Winter, and she wasn't able to find much. Shelter changed from night to night, but they were relatively fair places to stay, at least temperarily. For at least two weeks she continued on like this, and slowly the pain began to fade, as well as her memories of her past. Hoping that she'd find a safe, new home soon, she was able to rest soundly with the thoughts of her father on her mind, hoping he was alive.
