WELCOME
Welcome to Malevolent Harmony, an intermediate- advanced feline RP. We are a semi-realistic site, with a pinch of fantasy mixed into the double worlds in which the wild felines live. Please take the time to read through the rules and the history before beginning...we understand that there is a lot to read, but hopefully it will help you better understand the happenings on our site. Thanks, and welcome to MH!

A new day, a new chance at doing what is mean to be done. A new respect for the mysteries of the universe...so many mysteries.

It was dawn, in the thick and shadowed jungle, and the sun was just beginning to rise. Its bright orange rays shot through the trees, a cascade of ever growing strips of light and dark. Through the canopy, the brightening blue of the sky could clearly be seen...oh, what a wonderful day it would be. For once, in the jungle, it seemed as if it would not rain - a relief from the otherwise stormy weather...I guess that's what you get when you spend time in the rainforest. But no, not today. The typical humidity of the jungle was the only water in the air for the day, no droplets were going to rain on today's parade.

Well...maybe there wasn't going to be a parade, in the normal aspect of the word. But, Cyrus himself was parading down the worn down path, his massive body crashing through the bushes and other vegetation. He normally didn't bother at sneaking around, or hiding himself - it was too difficult for one of such size, and color. He had given up on all that long ago...besides, who was going to mess with him anyway? At least on their own...

He had walked this path many times, as he enjoyed a decent bath at least once every few days. Sure, the other water sources in their world were nice, but he felt bad bathing in them, since they were the places where most others went to drink. But here, here it was different - this was a place for fun and enjoyment, not so much a watering hole out in the middle of the jungle. And, Cyrus liked to take advantage of this. Even if he had not stayed the long night in the jungle, he woke early with the first vibrant rays of the sun as they kissed at his massive crown...and made his journey to the majestic falls. Today, he had actually been rather groggy, and traveled all the way from the mountains. Several times he felt like just finding a spot and falling asleep, putting off his bath for the sake of travel time. But, something kept pushing him, so he kept on.

Well, it was a good thing that Cyrus did finally arrive at his destination, for, again, it was a gorgeous day. The crystal clear waters sparkled as they fell into the pond below, and clouds of mist surrounded Cyrus as he approached. His emerald green eyes scanned the area, to make sure he was alone, then he carefully made his way to the water's edge. The tip of his paw was the first part of him to enter into the cool water, testing the temperature before he submerged himself. When he found all was well, he slowly began to walk into the transparent waters, letting the liquid soak in as he relaxed from the morning's trek.

Out of the thick brush of the forest came a slightly larger than usual male tiger. The shadows dappling his pale bluish grey pelt made parts of it appear to be solid grey. His large, mostly white paws were placed firmly but gentally on the ground as he strode silently to the water's edge, his paws making no noise at all. As more light hit him, his pelt started to look more and more blue. He sat a few feet from the water's edge and looked out upon the land, checking for threats.

Golden eyes glazed over the waterfall, the forest on the other side, the pond, then the other male bathing in it. He took a step back, slightly shocked to see he wasn't alone in this often vacant area. He opened his large maw and called out to the other tiger."Excuse me...forgive me if I'm tresspassing, is....is this your territory? I didn't smell any marks farther back, so it seems odd if it were, but, I don't wish to intrude on anyone's land."

His long, slender muscles tensed, preparing for an attack against him. His claws sheathed themselves fully, he kept his teeth in his maw, not daring to bare them. Yet, his eyes watched the other tiger cautiously, and he quickly seized the other male up. Granted, this tiger was big...however, Kaizer guessed that this other male was probally smaller than him by just a bit...either that or exactally his size. Possibilities sounded off in Kaizer's mind, but one thought stuck out most. If this tiger and him teamed up, they'd be able to run the rain forest...and if they could find a third large male, they would definatly be able to run the rain forest without any problems at all.
