Hi there folks, just a short introduction from me, Scottish born and bred, ex-aircraft electrician, favourite unit was RAF Binbrook where I was on 5 Squadron and LTF Lightnings 79-85. Am webmaster for the Lightning Association website and still work on Lightnings at the Lightning Preservation Group, Bruntingthorpe, Leicester. My birthday brought me an airfix model Lightning 1.48 and have just re-started a hobby that I left behind many years ago.

I found this site through visiting the UKAR forums and found an article on Lightning Models by markmarples, who had your site details as a signature. Was impressed by the EE Lightning 1/48 74sqn the TIGERS article and the progress of this model.

Hope to get some tips about modern model building techniques and share my experiences with you all.
