[Kyle Wales]

Kyle entered the castle with Reta behind him as he hurried up the staircase to the Library. He hid behind a statue outside the library and and poked his head out to see if he could spot Jake.

[Reta Grace]

Reta, behind Kyle as they neared the library, ducked behind the statue after Kyle. She poked her head around the other side. "See him anywhere?" she whispered.

[Kyle Wales]

'Nope, maybe he's hiding. He's a smart ass. Probably expecting us to follow. Fan out and look for him.' Kyle said, rolling out from behind the statue in a clumsy ninja-style and heading straight for the first row of bookshelves.

[Reta Grace]

Reta shook her head. She doubted Jake actually expected them to follow him but she didnt say anything out loud. She watched Kyle roll out from behind the statue and shook her head. Boy, was he an amusing one. She didnt sneak out anything like he had, but rather ducked behind the first row of books on the other side of the room from where Kyle was and then made her way to the second row, although she doubted he was in the rows of books. Probably at the front being yelled at by the librarian.

Kyle continued to roll around between the bookshelves clumsily, occasionally peering at Reta and making random sign-language gestures he'd noticed Muggles sometimes doing on 'TV'.

[Reta Grace]

Reta raised her eyebrows everytime Kyle made a gesture at her. She recognized them from a few Muggle TV shows she had seen, but she didnt know what they meant. She rolled her eyes playfully at Kyle, and then ran quickly over to where he was. "You see him yet?" she whispered, leaning against the bookshelf.

Kyle continued making the strange gestures, mostly pointing at his eyes with two fingers, then at Reta, then down. When she approached him, he said 'Nope. You?' And scanned the room one more time before looking back at her.

[Reta Grace]

Reta shook her head. "No sign of him anywhere." She was silent for a moment, listening to see if she could hear Jake's voice. She darted to the next bookshelf. They were getting closer to the front desk and still hadnt seen him anywhere. She caught Kyle's eye and pointed up and shrugged, as if to say that he might be farther up in the library and not on ground level. After all, the library did have many floors.

Kyle darted forward and flattened himself against a bookcase not 5 metres away from the Front Desk. He darted around as fast as he could and headed straight for the stairs. He truned as he planted his foot on the first step and looked at Reta, before quickly sprinting upstairs on silent feet, his head darting from side to side in search of Jake.

[Reta Grace]

Reta watched Kyle go up the stairs and then sneaked along the bookshelves in the other direction. A Ravenclaw turned the corner and gave Reta, who was up against the bookshelves peeking around the corner, a weird look. Reta smiled and turned to the bookshelf and pulled a book out. Once the girl was out of sight, Reta darted across the distance from the bookshelf to the stairs, looking around for Jake, and then up the opposite stairs that Kyle went up.
