Harrry turned his head away from Ron and sighed. He always knew Ron had a hard job of being keeper but this was just getting out of control.
'Look,' he said 'You'll be fine. Slytherin are... well crap at the moment.' Ron looked at Harry 'Oh and I suppose I'm crap as well?' 'No!' Harry protested but Ron just slumped off in the opposite direction leaving Harry alone in the corridor. He sighed again. They had just finished a Saturday morning Quidditch practice and he was feeling very annoyed with himself. If only he could think of a way to get Ron to play better. It was nerves though, and no matter what Harry could do, he couldn't cure Ron's nerves. |

Hermione appeared around the corner just in time to see Harry and Ron having some kind of arguing. She rushed herself to her friends to see what was going on with them, specially with Ron. Hermione had a huge crush on him, and she promised herself she would let Ron know about it, since this was their last school year.
She watched as Ron left, and called out for him as she reached Harry. "What just happened here, Harry?" she asked. |

Harry looked up to see Hermione. He saw the hem of Ron's robes whip around the corner and he sighed.
'Ron's been arguing with me about Quidditch.' he said slowly 'He wanted to quit but I told him no. He still think's he rubbish.' He raised his head and then slowly walked down the corridor Hermione at his side. There was silence until Harry asked 'So how are you...anyway?' |

"He still thinks so? Oh, my God!" Okay, this one thing about Ron seriously annoyed Hermione. Ron wasn't rubbish, like he always said. He wasn't the best player either, but he was... Decent.
As Harry and Hermione walked, there was silence. She was thinking of something to say, but Harry did it first. "Oh, I am fine. Just studying for the N.E.W.T.S." she said "You?" |

'Same,' Harry replied. He lowered his head as Peeves flew over holding a slushing bucket and cackling to himself. 'I got Potions world to do as well before Monday.'
He laughed bitterly then walked down the corridor. He stopped though, as on the floor he saw a newspaper. It was the Daily Prophet. Harry slowly approached it and picked it up. 'Muggles Increasing Violence towards Wizards' Harry stared at the newspaper aware that his heart was beating only half as fast. 'What is this rubbish?' he asked and he showed the article to Hermione hoping she had a idea of what the hell was going on. |

Hermione grabbed the newspaper from Harry's hand, her heart starting to pound fast within her chest as she read article.
"Just some rubbish, I guess" she said, her eyes going from one side to another of the article "It says that muggles are becoming some sort of danger to the wizards" Hermione said, her head shaking in desbelief "This isn't actually possible, is it? I mean, muggles don't even know about wizards. To them, we are just some sort of fairy tale" she had personal experience on that area. Being a muggleborn, for a great part of her life, Hermione thought there was no things like the called witches and wizards. "You don't think that they found out about anything" she turned her head to Harry "Do you?" |

Harry shook his head. Not because he didn't think so, but because he didn't know.
'I don't know. Anythings possible. Theres rumours flying around that they know about us. Some wizards have been questioned. But if they questioned them, surely they can escape. Apparate or something?' |

"Yeah, but" Hermione didn't know what to say "I don't know." For one of the first times, she didn't know the answer. How could muggles know about wizards? This secret has been hidden for centuries. Who could have possibly turned the wholde wizarding race in?
"But anyway. If muggles know about us" she started, apprehension growing on her voice "What could happen? Nothing bad, I hope. Maybe, ummm, they would just go to the door of our homes and ask us questions. Or maybe it could happen just like the last century: every witch or wizard would be burnt down" she said, trying to fake a laugh. She didn't really know what would happen. "Anyhow, we can't forget that we are reading the Daily Prophet. God knows it is rubbish" |

Harry felt himslef privatley agree. He knew nothing the muggles could do would hurt them. Yet... Hermione did have a point, what about the Muggle who burned wizards and witches years ago? Was it going to turn into something like that?
Sighing, Harry turned away from the paper. Hermione was right. It was the Daily Prophet they were dealing with. 'I know what you mean.' Harry said 'Still, we thought the Daily Prophet was rubbish when it got at Lupin.... and look what happened to him.' He sighed and felt his neck go cold. Turning around he saw Peeves blowing on his neck, the bucket gone. 'Piss off Peeves.' Harry said waving his wand at the Poltergeist who cackeled and then flew off again. 'Oh I dunno...' Harry said 'Best not think on it. Come on.' |
