James threw the newspaper aside. It's title story visible underneath the pile of food atop it.
Six Wizards Missing as Muggle's are Questioned.

He turned to his breakfast but turned his head up that as well.
He was not hungry. That was the simple explanation. He had spent the previous night eating chocolate Frogs in the common room and now had little appitite for anything else.

Picking up his cup of tea, which luckily he did have a thirst for, James sipped it and took a look around the Great Hall on Friday morning, just before lessons had begun.

Reta, the day's Daily Prophet in hand, entered the nearly empty great hall and glaced around. She spotted James by himself at the Hufflepuff Table, and wandered over to where he was seated, sitting next to him and setting the Daily Prophet next to the plate in front of her. She kissed his cheek, and said, "Good morning, handsome" before getting a few biscuits and putting them on her plate.

Jamesa blinked and shook his head 'Oh, it was me you were talking to was it?'
He laughed then pulled Reta in to kiss her himself. Moving the paper aside he sipped his tea nad then spoke.

'So Gorgeous, what lessons do you have today?'

Kyle bounced into the Great Hall, a wide grin on his face. He spotted James and Reta sat at the Hufflepuff table and headed towards them. Plonking himself down opposite the two, he said 'Mornin' guys. Oh sorry, you two are 'fraternizing' Don't mind me.' He smiled and grabbed some toast. Munching on it, he picked up an abandoned copy of the Daily Prophet and began reading the headlines.

Reta smiled. "Of course." she replied, although she knew he was only joking. She returned the kiss, and then turned to Kyle who had just joined them at the table. She rolled her eyes playfully at his comment, and then said, "Good morning Kyle."

Reta took a bite of her biscuits, and then replied to James' question, "Charms, Transfiguration, Care of Magical Creatures, and Potions." she shuddered at the mention of Potions and then laughed. It wasnt that she hated the class, it was just that she could never get on the Professors good side, no matter how well she did, probably the only reason being that she was a Gryffindor. Then there was the fact that she wasnt very good at it, but then again it did come in handy.

"What about you?" she asked, turning back to her momentarily abandoned biscuits.

Jake wandered into the Great Hall and sat down at the Ravenclaw table and poured himself some orange juice then started drinking it. He then started munching on some toast. He was still trying to wake up. His eyes were still blurry.

'Hehe' Kyle smiled, looking at the couple. He spotted Jake enter the hall and with little sublety, stood up, cupped one hand round his mouth, waved the other in the air and began shouting 'Yo! Woah! Jake! Over here, buddy!' He gestured at a seat next to him and countinued shouting for Jake's attention.

Ezri entered the great hall and looked around with a slow and lazy smile spreading across her face. She moved over to the Ravenclaw table and sat down, reaching for a biscuit which she covered in butter and some strawberry jam.

Jake could have sworn he heard his name called, but passed it off as his own imagination.
I'm so tired. I'm probably delerious at the moment...oh well...let's hope the banana stops chasing me.
He shuddered.
What a strange and horrible nightmare...ugh.
He reched over and pulled out an apple.
You won't steal my matress...will you, apple?

'Oh... Defence, Transfiguration , Herbology and Charms.'
He winced at the sound of Potions. He had potions tomorrow and had still not done his homwork. And he had Quidditch practice tonight, so it'd be a late night for him.
'Good luck.' he laughed lightly and took a bite out of his toast.

Reta smiled. Truthfully, she could use all the help she could get when it came to Potions.
She watched Kyle call to Jake, and as once again Jake ignored them. Maybe he really didnt remember the lot? She shrugged. "i dont think he remembers us." she told Kyle.

Jake's chin slid out of his hand and his face nearly ended up on his plate.
...stupid nightmare... he thought.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out his schedule.

Transfiguration
Divination

Thinking that moving around would help him wake up, he finished the last of his apple and got up and left towards the Ravenclaw Commonroom.

Lia yawned lazily as she entered the Great Hall, trying to cover her mouth as she did so, but hardly succeeded. She glanced around the room, her eyes stopping at her own house table. There were only a few people still eating, and as she walked over, she called out a "Hey," to Jake as he got up to leave.

She took a seat by herself and helped herself to a bowl of oatmeal, putting in some fruit, just the way she liked it. As she ate, she pulled her schedule out of her robes and placed it on the table beside her breakfast. Charms was first - her favorite. Lia smiled to herself as she continued to eat.

Kyle sat back down, annoyed at Jake for ignoring them. 'Maybe I'll have to give him a little reminder.' He said, smiling devilishly and cooking up yet another plan to get Jake.

Twice was too many for coincidence. Jake looked up and saw Lia sitting down. Her gaze had moved on from him, so he thought it best to continue on his way towards the commonroom. He was happy to see Peeves floating by in the opposite direction of the Ravenclaw commonroom as Jake reached the doorway.
Phew...one less monstrosity to take care of on the way there. he thought to himself.
