_______________________Breeding & Hybrids

Welcome to Parenthood! Come one, come all, spread your genes. Remember that the female must purchase this, and both parents must be the same species. Species restrictions do apply - for example, a female meercat may only breed if she is in a meerkat pack (as this is what they do in the wild). The number of offspring is determined randomly by Mother Nature.

Hybrids In order to become a highbrid, you and your mate must be in the same scientifc family, (eg, Animalia) - Canines cannot breed breed with Felines, and must have close relationships with the other. Mates must also have the same ancestor, (eg, Serval and Cheetah) - since both species come from the same parent ancestor, they are able to breed together, Offspring from resulting cross-breeding will result in infertile offspring. If the two creatures are not the same species, and are not hybrid compatible either, then no offspring will be produced.

Purchase per-character goodies! Mutations & parasites can be kept through re-spawns if you so choose. But contagious diseases must be re-purchased. Some examples of a genetic mutation : albino creatures (white deer, white peacocks, etc), heterocrhomia (right, left eye colors different), white lions, king cheetahs, four-footed goose. (Anything that has occurred in nature) Keep in mind that not all genetic mutations are helpful, and survival of the fittest is key.

Mother Nature has a funny way of saying she loves you... one of these ways is by infecting you with some nasty viruses. Immunity can and will save your life! -By purchasing immunities to various diseases that you may be exposed to, you are thus unable to contract it. These purchases are made per-character, and require the edit of one's character profile upon purchase (this will be done by an administrator); by purchasing immunity, you prepare and protect yourself in the future.
