Zero padded around, the frozen land looking for some unmarked territory. His strides where long, making him take up less time to get to an area. His lime green eyes scanned over the place, seeing nothing but white, he slowly walked over, hoping his brother was following him. He bent his head down, sniffing the ice, he smelt nothing. Hm, so this is our territory.. He scented it so it was clearly marked as theirs. Finding a small- like cave around, he went in it.
Cozy, He lied down on the cool ground, tired of all that walking he stretched out his front paws, and settled his head in them. Quickly falling asleep, he dreampt about-as always- A family. All he wanted was someone else around besides his brother, or him gone. Him gone? Then there would be nothing for him to do if Fang was gone..
As Fang padded around the frozen earth ground he felt his paws feeling moist and looked down at them observing them seeing water droplets. Quickly he shook his white and gray fur and began cleaning his paw. When he began to pace around he was thinking about Zero, Where could he run off to now, he wanted his brother close to him wanted some sort of comofort.
Lifting his snout into the cool crisp air he scented Zero, with a sigh of relief he squinted his golden eyes finding a small cave as he noticed his brother walk in, swiping his tail annoyingly he trotted after him.
His ear flicked when Fang walked in, since it couldn't be no one else but him. A low sigh came from his parted mouth, he stiffned his legs out, and rolled over to his side, his back facing Fang. His face scraped the icy ground, he turned over to his back, and his legs stood straight out, in his sleep, he was swatting at a hare to get out of it's hiding place. Dreaming about food only made him more hungry.
Fooood, his smile widening as he had the prey in his mouth, feeling the juicy taste of meat between his teeth...
He woke up with a furry thing next to his mouth, a tail. He blinked before seeing a figure, it was Fang's tail. He jumped up, and started pawing at his nose, making sniffing noise along with that.
((OOC: Slight power-play, Khryne, you could say something like 'Zero felt like there was fur in his mouth' but saying that Fang's tail was actually in his mouth is sort of like me saying, 'Zero snorted in disgust,' even though he's not my character.... Just a notification, ;3))
Accenia's bright red cloak of fur sslunk across the land, a smile on her black lips.
More males.
This damn tundra was full of 'em. She should visit this place more often.
She had her nose to the ground, following the scent of two arctics. Both dogs, no vixens, and very similiar scents... brothers? Friends? Enemies on each others tail? In any case, she would follow them... And watch...
He stood up, then a loud, exaggerated yawn escaped his mouth. Stretching out his legs, he stood out at the entrance of the cave, and scanned the area. Seeing that it was pretty big, he might have to go scenting again. Hm, who knows.
The bitter wind lashed the plain, desolate tundra, whipping and biting through Accenia's thin coat. Freezing, she looked around. The wind seemed to have suddenly picked up, vicious and cruel. With a shiver, and raced forward, hearing every noise she made crunch, crack, and echo throughout the canyon. the wind died, but it was still cold, and Accenia crouched down, huddling for warmth.
She heard a small cough or noise not far off, like someone... scattering pebbles on the ice. As she turned, a spray of them slapped her hindquarters, and stung as they drove home, digging into the flesh. Snarling, she whipped around, looking for the culprit. Very, very faintly, she heard a wolf howling, like in need of something. A loud SQWUAK!!! resounded through the terrian, loud and menacing.
A large, black bird rose from not far off, disappearing over the lip of the valley, like it was answering something...
But what? Humans? Accenia thought, fear churning, dark and malicious, in her stomach. In a panicked jolt of adrenaline and instinct, the red vixen raced forward, not caring where she ran. Spraying pebbles and rocks and ice-chunks everywhere, the little woman fled forward, for the opposite mountains, which stood out jagged like a dragon's back from the rest of the terrian.
It was not long before, tired, cold and hungry, Accenia was stumbling and fighting to keep her eyes open.
Gosh, I'm starving... the scent of the males was getting stronger, the spore of their entwined odors mingling with the icy moor-like plain. But Accenia ignored it, stumbling to a halt before collapsing in exhaustion not far from their hideout.
I've gotten through deserts, lion-infested savannahs, the human cities, and places in between... but the tundra's got me beat... Accenia thought, as the blackness lapped at her pelt, then reared like a wave and washed her under.
Zero felt the wind rush upon his body, as that did he smelt something... awkward. Was there someone or something on our land all ready? His brother would be alright by himself while I go look around. He stood onto his paws, he began to walk out into the icy terrain. As he walked on searching for the person or thing that was on their territory. Zero's paws were making sound, as they crushed down on the ice below him. He squinted his eyes from the harsh winds. Then, a scent, a female scent hit his nostrils. His head instantly perked up, But where could she be out here? Probaly buried in snow... Once he thought that, his eyes bugged out, knowing that he had to find her quickly before her body actually froze to death. Zero wondered around for a bit, then he saw like a little bump in the snow... Hm. He ran over to it, and pushed his paw on it to see if something, or someone was inside the snow.
The scratching of the snow alerted Accenia through her haziness that something was wrong. As did the fact she was now running low on oxygen, for some reason. A snorty laugh coughed out of her lungs, and she shifted- or tried to. Instead, she heard more urgent scratching, and a huge weight pressed on her.
Like a mountain of snow--
"HOLY MOTHER--" The female screamed, her eyes flying open in shock as the realization hit.
She was six feet under... okay, maybe four, but still. She turned on her back, the few inches of space between her and the top of it confused her. As did the fact she felt very damp. Clawing frantically at the ceiling of snow, she screamed to her saviour:
Once he heard the snort laugh or whatever, then after came a scream of help. He tried to move the snow to the side but it was takign to long so he put his paws in the snow then spreaded them apart to make a hole. Then he stuck his face in, he shivered from the cooldness, but ignoring it to save this person. He shruggled with moving his head trying to get deeper getting to her. His shoulders were stuck, Damn, I can't get out, well this didn't end out as I planned... He blew out a sigh of frustation through his nose. using his hind legs to keep him going, he bumped into something.
Ow. His muzzle felt liked it jammed into something soft but hard at the same time. Hm lets try this.. He opened his mouth then grabbed onto the fur that was all up in his face. Using all his numb legs he forced himself up out the cold, death hole.
Waking up suddenly he noticed with a jolt that Zero was long gone.Prying his eyes open but quickly rolling over he grumbled and turned his attention towards the cave entrance the snow bliztered over his face as he shook it and made his way towards his brother running frantically over to him knowking something was wrong. Seeing Zero clawing at a pile with a bump in it he knew with shock that there was something; or someone in this bundle.Pushing his front paws forward Fang began to dig his claws into the pile helping his brother.
The sword will bend, The chains will break..And all the world, Will be at my sake...FENRIS
The ice slid smoothly under my paws, Chilling the pads until they ached. But I couldn't feel anything. I was perfectly fine in the hottest and coldest of temperatures...For I had CIPA.(Not that I knew of course.) I could not feel pain, heat, or happily, Cold.
I pawed slowly through the snow, My heavy paws making no noise on the soft, white blanket... My gaze drifted down to my black fur that stood shocking against the frost and ice... But I kept walking,
Which was, A mistake.
I felt pressure on my shoulder... I had bumped into something. Looking up quickly, I froze in realization..And that thing, Had a TAIL. Oddly, It's head was under the snow.
Thinking fast, I backed up, Laying on the snow to view this very amusing picture. Hopefully he didn't know it was me who bumped him... It's all for appearance y' know.
I said nothing... But my fangs stood ready for danger, And my claws kneaded into the snow...I was a threat, But not one at the same time.
All for appearance.

Lord Fear dances in the shadows, Black Death awaiting it's strike.
I fear to loose my mind, Yet i'm still waiting for some sign... If i'll be okay.
As he was digging he saw paws coming in the snow. His paws were white so that had to be Fang's. This was diffiult trying to pull someone out, and at it yourself. He wobbled around trying to move backwards. But he felt something bump him slightly on his tail. Every bone in his body froze at that moment. Didn't want to find out if it was a predator or not, squished his body up in the hole with the female. He certainly wasn't going to find out if it was going to kill them, well not today anyway. He closed his eyes, Man, it's way colder in here than out there. He tryed to peak out but was all stuck in an uncomfortable position. He wiggled around but just remembered the fox was still there. it probably felt like he smooshed her, but hm oh well. His ears twitched when he heard something like a "crunch" in the snow. He thought he was still there but, he wasn't sure. So he had to check; he moved around until his head was facing the entrance where he dug. Moving upward he peaked out seeing a black figure stick out of all that white the thing was still there.
Of course, she was the one stuck in the snow. Of course she had to be suffocating as this scene played out: the one involving a black wolf stealing up and bumping into the male fox. But as usual, Accenia was the one in deep shit and the others were all watching and laughing.
Of course.
The male was trying to dig her out, that she knew; but she was wondering how in the hell she'd gotten down here, in the first place. Had she just fallen? Had the snow caved in? There hadn't been a blizzard or snowing, so maybe it was one of the above... who knew?
But the male not only dug her out, oh no, he smooshed himself into her rear end, a very uncomfortable position, I assure you. Compelled to make some smart-ass remark, she shouted:
"If you dug me out a bit faster, you wouldn't have to shove yourself at me!" Of course, this was the worst possible thing to say, considering her predicament, but she was getting a bit woozy from staying under the snow: the cave she was in was very, very uncomfortable and she was losing oxygen.
"Are you leaving? Or have you decided to take a hunting break?" She called, annoyed and embarrassed. She heard, but did not hear, the snow crunching and a soft noise- like when someone bumps into you and then sort of stumbles back.
Managing to not fall into the hole with his brother and the female Fang instead grabbed both of their scruffs of fur and put all his strength on his hind legs.Turning his head a bit he noticed a rather large black wolf that wasn't in the mood for conversating.
Shaking his head furiously he shook his fur from the wet cold ice and slowly but surely pulled them both out.Licking his brother's ear to see if he was alright and pulled on the young female's ear seeing if she was ok. Turning back towards the wolf he stood his guard and watched him like a hawk.
"If you dug me out a bit faster, you wouldn't have to shove yourself at me!" He rolled his eyes and parted his jaws to speak."Well, if you wouldn't have gotten yourself stuck in here then maybe I wouldn't have to dig you out, know would I?"
As he talked his voice rised, shutting his mouth after he finished saying what he needed to say. Then he heard her voice again. "Are you leaving? Or have you decided to take a hunting break?" He grunted at that remark, but ignored it even though he was a bit hungry. As he felt something grap onto him, he was scrapping the ice along the way. He looked around to see Fang, he squinched up his nose when he licked his ear. Lifting up his snow covered paw, he wiped his ear getting some snow on his ear a little bit.
