COLUMBUS AVENUE
Columbus Avenue is the nicest part of downtown, with plenty of small boutiques, cafes and nice restaurants. There is also the Warren Museum of Fine Arts and the beautiful Canson Park.

Some say that business is only the legal face of crime. With billions of dollars on the line everyday businessmen can be devious. This section of the city is filled with skyscrapers that house law firms and companies by the dozen.

Deep in the city's downtown area is Chinatown, which feels rather like a whole other city inside itself. The area is controlled by the Chinese mafia known as the Triad.

BLOCK E
This area of town (which despite it's name is rather more than a block) has the largest concentration of nightlife. As soon as the sun goes down, the neon lights come up, and thumping beats start blasting in the clubs and the drinks start flowing in the bars.

Besides the business, the clubs, and Chinatown, the downtown area of the city has hundreds of hidden areas that people love to go to. Whether it is the artsy cafe hidden in an alley of the mega store taking up a block, downtown has nearly everything you could want.

MEMORIAL PIER
An old but sturdy structure jutting out into the river where families come to spend the day. Vendors and street performers set up shop along the pier, and a old and possibly unsafe carousal plays cheerful music box tunes. Fishing, skateboarding, and diving are not allowed.

MSOH HQ
From the outside this is the Riverside Theater, which has been abandoned for the past five years. Once inside, however, this theater is anything but abandoned. The theater plus several basement levels serve as the headquarters for MSoH and as been decked out in some of the most advanced security systems.

CIELO'S ITALLIAN
A hole in the wall Italian restaurant that does excellent pizza delivery. The tables aren't always the cleanest, but the food is great, and the owners are extremely friendly.
Oz's workshop is on the second floor.

SOUTHBEND STATION
An historic piece of architecture in uptown, this train station is a stop both for subway trains and for freight trains. The underground freight yard is off limits to visitors, but late night visits from smugglers are not uncommon.

KANE UNIVERSITY
The prestigious Kane University's lush and sprawling campus takes up several blocks of uptown, as well several buildings off campus. It's known throughout the country for it's engineering and medical sciences programs, and has a close partnership with St. Oracle Hospital.

With all the official buildings in Uptown plenty of shops and restaurants have sprung up to draw the buisness of the doctors and lawyers on their lunch break. If you're getting coffee in a cozy corner cafe, or browsing a high end boutique for a nice gift, this is where you can post.
