After receiving their finalized orders, the LCAM-00XA Seraph has departed from Carpentaria Base bound for Kaohsiung. Reports of renewed Earth Alliance interest in the region has ensured this is an assignment not to be taken lightly.
Summer recess has ended, expect Academy cadets to return for additional instruction.

Hello! If you're here now, hopefully you've read the rules and story and are now really excited to get started! Hooray! For this RP we are stepping away from the MMO type of game in favor of something more story driven. While this means there are a few options that are no longer available, hopefully we can make up for that with a really involved storyline and experience. The following guidelines will fill you in on some of the changes for MSGS: Seraph.
Remember to ask questions if you need to!
Currently, this board will be dealing with the adventures of the LCAM-00XA Seraph, an Orb Union vessel seized by ZAFT, the FFMH-Z102 Transcendence, a repurposed Eternal-class, as well as the next class of ZAFT pilots and soldiers attending the military academy in the later half of the Bloody Valentine War. While creating your character, please be sure to make sure they fit within these parameters so that we can keep all active characters together for the greatest degree of interaction. All Player Characters will be affiliated with ZAFT. Because of this, it is also assumed all Player Characters are Coordinators.
Exceptions may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, contact staff.
LCAM-00XA Seraph Crew: As this was a commandeered ship, ZAFT had no active crew immediately available for assignment to the Seraph. Characters on board will be a combination of new graduates from the ZAFT Military Academy and recent transfers from other units as available. Assigned pilots will initially have the choice of DINN, GINN, or Murasame* units. Due to the nature of Seraph assignments, the crew will also consist of infantry units utilized in a variety of ways in addition to the standard operational crew.
*Murasume MS were captured with the ship. As such there is only a limited supply: 2/8 Have been taken.
FFMH-Z102 Transcendence Crew: The Transcendence is a general purpose variant of the extremely task-specific Eternal-class support ship. Base MS capacity was increased to six and the ship was granted trans-atmospheric capabilities. Following the Eternal's theft, the Transcendence was relocated to Icarus XIII and completed. Affectionately dubbed "The Trash" by its crew due to its lightly armed nature, the ship is mainly reliant on its MS compliment for offensive and defensive endeavors.
ZAFT Military Academy: Dubbed Icarus Institute by locals, the Academy on Icarus XIII is the primary soldier processing facility for the ZAFT military. Following a mandatory two years of basic training, graduating cadets are either injected into the military or continue on for up to an additional three years of advanced training. As part of the immersion curriculum, Academy Squads are deployed in real world situations in conjunction with standard ZAFT forces.
Traditional enrollment age is 15 years old. --Candidates for Captain serve a full five year term or, alternatively, four years with a fifth serving as Executive Officer on board a ZAFT ship. --Fourth year cadets are typically a shoo-in for Team Commander positions. --The third year is the minimum for possible special forces opportunities.
Instructors are battle proven soldiers and pilots who also serve as commanding officers during AS Deployment. In addition to their teaching duties, they may be called up to service at a moments notice and are required to remain constantly on standby.
Alternates Alternates function as registered NPC who will be participating outside of the scope of the board. They may be pilots or soldiers assigned to other ships that will be available for play whenever their ship or station crosses paths with the Seraph or Academy. Refer to the "In-Character Rules" for additional information.
