Personality: Kate has an extreme sense of not belonging and worries of abandonment. This stems from fierce implanted emotions tying her to Takumi but never being able to see her father. Like the others her age she has a small obsession in finally meeting her mysterious father who the main Kagezuchi household has been quiet about. Kate's interest in her father is purely on a family level and she hopes her father sees her positively when they finally do meet.

Her trust and belief in blood relatives is also rather high, although she holds this feeling for few others it is rare and a strong bond. Kate doesn't take bonds with people lightly and if you've made Kate your friend she'll be sticking with you through thick and thin.

With her rather dedicated personality, Kate will be extremely persistent to prove herself, or find things out about her father. Her curiosity in this area is rather high and she holds onto a rare picture of her father that she got from the main household very dearly.

History: Kate was a basic experiment by the Earth lab to see what factors influenced the birth of a newtype. Thus the woman was 'conceived' on Earth with a batch of numerous other subjects and transported into space to be born in space. The transport and the difficulty of getting the child born in space lead to Kate being the sole survivor of that experiment. Once she was born Kate was brought back down to Earth for final testing, they found she wasn't a newtype although being the only living subject made the test inconclusive.

But with her birth the labs were told to begin other tests to instil loyalty to her father and her family in her base memories. The success towards family loyalty was low, however the memories of relating to her father along with the knowledge he was her actual father latched on easily.

Her implanted memories however clashes with her upbringing, instead of her father which she had memories of she was raised by unknown lab personal and eventually given to a woman named Maya Dolen. Kate felt a rather extreme level of abandonment and retracted from interacting with Maya or the lab personnel. With a bit of resentment towards her foster mother life with Maya was not a comfortable. Finally as conflict reawoken, Kate was twelve and had a habit of running away from home. This put Kate into the situation of being stranded on Earth as the Solarian lab could not locate the girl in time.

Despite this forced time together Kate rarely stayed with her foster family, often being at friend's houses while being watched by the Kagezuchi household all the while not being able to shake her planted memories. Eventually at seventeen Kate's foster mother finally delivered the last straw to their strenuous relationship. Being insulted by the woman was nothing new, but for some reason she saw fit to insult her father, which enraged the girl and sparked a brief fight before the girl ran away for good.

With little life choices Kate applied for the EDU military and with some help from the Kagezuchi house hold was able to get in with little trouble. Once inside the clan pulled what strings they could to hitch Kate and the other stranded girls to one Misaka Mikoto. With the Earthbound children together Kate became aware she wasn't an only child, something that made a weight lift off her shoulders at the prospect of being around her family.

After initial training Kate has only been involved in low intesity engagements due to the Kagezuchi household's influence. Although due to information about her father's profession Kate is looking to improve her skills, although they left out which side Takumi was fighting on.

Personality: Meirin is a rather playful and firey, if a bit flirtatious young woman who prides herself over many others. She tends to be more humble to those that have caught her interests. She also goes to great lengths to prove her capabilities and can get herself into messes without meaning too.

Her attention thus far has been primarily on her father, due to a misguided focus in planted memories Meirin's affection towards her father is much less wholesome then Kate's. More so that she'll identify Takumi, who looks around her age as her 'future lover'. If needed she'd go through great lengths for people she trusts and or loves. This puts her obsession rather high.

Still Meirin has pride in her body and tends to be showy and will disregard personal space for those that interest her. She is also willing to take advantage of her own body if necessary and a bit vain as a result.

History: An offshoot experiment of Kate Kagezuchi's line, Meirin was designed to be conceived in space and raised on Earth, Thanks to development of some safety measures there were more surviving specimens then Kate's time. Once they examined their specimen they found Meirin had indeed taken too the Newtype enhancements they'd done, they'd successfully made a space born but potentially Earth raised sample.

Unexpected complications arose during her childhood however. During a transfer of Meirin to the main house for inspection the ship was attacked by Chinese pirates expecting a commercial haul, instead finding heavy resistance for a then, six year old Meirin. Dumbfounded and annoyed about their find, the pirates took the girl, where she was quickly handed off to Chinese mainland contacts and met her future foster mother, who was only eleven herself.

Due to the raid's timing Meirin's association with her father Takumi had not been fully refined. As a result of her detention and her surroundings her thoughts relating to Takumi became corrupted or twisted. Still despite the setting Meiling took good care of the young girl, the abusive criminals themselves often remarking they were like mother and daughter. The concept held in Meirin's mind due to the lacking of a other figure, it wasn't until she developed more did she start to reject her foster mother. To her credit Meiling didn't exactly have a glamorous job being a criminal gang's gofer and apparently being prepared to be sold to a brothel.

Intervetion eventually came before Meiling could be sold by the Kagezuchi family. With constant investigation and manipulation they were able to locate their missing experiment and were surprised to see her in such good condition and a caretaker who shielded the girl when the raid happened. Meiling was promptly given two choices, come with the Kagezuchis as a servant and Meirin's caregiver, or be left behind in a bloodied former gang hide out. The choice was obvious and both Meirin and her foster mother were brought back to the main house for training.

While her foster mother was easily adjusted, Meirin suffered due to her lack of education and the corruptive nature of her former surroundings. Her love for her father had also become twisted although it was genuine if a bit obsessive. Although only eleven the girl had many responsibilities shoved onto her as they had to bring the girl up to their standards. Results were spotty, Meirin never really did shed her flirty attitude, although she could function in society at a satisfactory level. Using information on Takumi as bait they also kept the girl informed and interested as they directed her towards the EDU military along with the other Earth bound children.

Meirin took the fact she wasn't Takumi's only child rather badly, worse yet she became rather competitive with her sister Kuga who shared the same level of obsession with their father. Her relationship with Kate and their military guardian Mikoto has been more positive. Despite this sometimes unstable relationship Meirin recognizes the fact her father would be sad to loose one of his own children and will fight off any threat that would come to her family. Like the others information that Takumi is in the Solarian military has been withheld until they are at a satisfactory combat level.

The young woman's combat record is sparse but extremely polished, her skills show true potential and she's extremely driven towards setting a good record for her family, but especially her father.

Personality: Kuga is a hard worker and rather diligent but prone to excessive fits of laziness or attempts to ditch work in face of mounting or overwhelming menial work. But during unexpected times of peace and quiet Kuga becomes uneasy and begins to wish to do something normally anything to just do something. This also doesn't help that she has a semi addictive personality and easily swayed or talked into things, leaving her also a pack rat.

Her main good point is her respect, normally those who she sees good qualities in or those who endear themselves too her. So she's readily loyal and easy to motivate into action with the proper preparation such as a reward or some well worded flattery.

Her obsession with her father however is much like her sister Meirin is extreme. This same degree of obsession often leaves to two to compete. While her sister might try to influence someone through words or displays Kuga if confronted would be the aggressive one of the women. She is a bit more conservative with her dress then her sister however.

History: Born from the same experiment as Meirin, Kuga was one of the few successful first batch Cyber Newtypes. There were also important plans for Kuga once she'd grown enough. With some organization with the Isane family, which had ties to the main branch family Kuga was planned to be given to the Isane family as a foster child. Yumi herself is a hopeful person to be used as an arranged marriage.

Things atleast initially went according to plan, introducing Kuga to her foster mother went along as well as one could expect given how close in age they were. Issues however popped up as the war closed off access to Takumi who was in Solaria. Without the potential of actually marrying off their daughter, the Isane family began showing signs of backing out of the marriage. Worse yet Yumi was having a hard time acting as a mother, given her age and the fact she was being trained in several different aspects it's suprising she even made friends with Kuga.

Still with their interests somewhat the same Kuga was influenced by Yumi's opinion on Takumi and what she was taught. Let it be said a future wife telling her almost same age daughter what her family expected from her was not exactly the best route that could've happened. Sadly it was a side effect of both of them seeing each other as friends instead of mother and daughter.

Eventually the Kagezuchis took possession of Kuga, who tries to keep in contact with her mother, while the Isane's attempted to cut ties with groups that had Solarian ties to solidify their position for the EDU. This isolated Kuga somewhat until she met her sisters, Meirin in particular sparked off a competition of sorts.

Never the less with the others heading off to military service at the Kagezuchi's prompting which was mostly founded on the fact Takumi himself was in the military, along with her need to compete with Meirin sent her off with the others. After training and being assigned to Mikoto Kuga preformed as expected but considering she hasn't been out in combat for too long her skills as a cyber newtype are being wasted.

The Solarian based lab couldn't recover the girls during their attempt to withdraw everyone. The main family then decided to capitalize on their investment and train up the girls.
